When I arrived at ritz I was at a low point in my life and ritz staff was kind and respectful and made feel safe in my process. My case manager Michaela H and Shauna B was amazing and all techs have really stood out and amazing. They will the extra for you.
I only stayed here for one week, just to make sure my body was completely clean from the medication my doctor had prescribed. I truly want to thank the whole team for helping me during that week. Now, after one year, I feel so much better without any medication and my life is in a much better place. I honestly wish I had come here sooner instead of going to the wrong doctor. Thank you again for all your help, care, and support.
DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY! I tried to call a recovery facility in my home state and was re-routed to Invigorate or Arise (their parent company). Before I knew I was talking to someone in California, they confirmed my insurance was in network, so that piqued my interest. The sales rep (Ben) started talking about how "sunny southern California is so great for recovery and how there was a pool and a beach nearby, and he could get me on a plane the next morning......" Blah, blah, blah, BULLSHIT. I asked how I got connected with a place in California. Again, Ben fabricated the truth and said the place you called transferred you to us. The truth: I got several very concerned phone calls from the facility I tried to connect with after the fact. Unfortunately, it was too late. Anyone that falls for this (like me) is essentially hassled from the moment you leave your doorstep to the moment you sit down in the airplane. Yes, they do pay for the plane ticket and yes, you have to pay it back before you leave - more info on this later. They also encourage you to drink and use drugs before you go. I was told, "do what you need to do to get here." I showed up sober. It clearly wasn't what they planned on. Another mental mindfuck that people don't think about when they are seeking help for addiction. When you arrive, there are 4 structures with 3 levels each. NOT ONE OF THEM has an elevator. If you have mobility issues, you will have a problem. You will need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to attend any group. While I was there, there was a woman who used a walker, a woman who had both of her feet halfway amputated, and another woman with knee braces on both legs. IF you get lucky enough to be put on a zoom meeting, you will likely get ignored. I am not sure how they even bill for people who can't navigate their "campus." On another note, the slats of the platform beds were falling out of the bottom, there were bugs and SQUIRRELS let in the house by housekeeping, and there were rats on our patio. For meals, they have lunch and dinner delivered. It's not horrible but definitely hit or miss. They tell you they'll make breakfast when you arrive, but they don't. I didn't find out until the second to last day that breakfast was in an entirely different building and it was only available sporadically, at best. I will compliment them on groceries delivery though...you can ask for whatever you want and make it for yourself, which is what my housemates and I did. Therapy - you will get a therapeutic team. My Case Manager - Courtney, assisted with FMLA and immediately started encouraging me to leave my husband and go to sober living in Los Angeles. Anytime I would try to discuss the issue with her, I would get interrupted and talked over. Additionally, you will not be able to have any visitors or phone calls without being monitored by your Case Manager. My therapist - Belinda listened well and was as supportive as possible, but I felt like she was out of her element and regurgitating something from a textbook. Groups are held all day; if you have access to YouTube or old articles on mental health/ addiction, you can save yourself a lot of money. You can also expect to get chastised for supporting peers. While that is a practice the therapists preach, watch out for saying the wrong thing because you will get called out and alienated. Discharge - They will try to hold you longer than 30 days, unless your insurance stops paying, then they'll kick you out on the street. I saw it happen. And the plane ticket home is on you. Kyle (Finance) will tell you that you owe money for your plane ticket and out of pocket medications. Mine was $1067. I asked Kyle what my out of pocket expenditures were for therapy and rehab. He paused and stammered. Eventually he told me I owed $12,000 since I WAS OUT OF NETWORK. What? I immediately threw a fit because I was told I was in network and instead of listening to me, Kyle interrupted and said, "relax, we can settle this for $3500." I told him I would pay the $1067 and that was it. Meanwhile, Courtney, the Case Manager told me, "Don't worry, we won't take you to collections." It became very clear, very fast, that I had been scammed. Courtney then baited me into 2 very public arguments where I was told, "it seems like you want us to come after you for the money, so we will." I told her I wanted to leave right then and she said, "if you leave, I will list you as leaving against medical advice and the insurance company will come after you." Bottom line, these people did not know me, nor took the chance to get to know me. They lied to me upfront about being in network, took advantage of me as a vulnerable person, told me to leave my husband, harassed me about going to sober living, and did nothing for my recovery. I felt a million times worse by the time I left. Do your research. This place isn't what they advertise.
Invigorate really allowed me to admit I needed help. The staff and clients were helpful, trustworthy, and nonjudgmental. I felt safe and taken care of.
I spent 35 days with them in East Hollywood. Excellent facility. The staff was great. Lots of freedom to socialize and learn from peers. I had an excellent experience and left feeling I could succeed.
Being in this Recovery Center is like winning the lottery. Rosie the housekeeper is amazing, Geronimo the chef makes delicious, nutritious meals, the staff is loving, kind and helpful, and the owners are very involved and truly care about your recovery.
This place truly saved my life. I am so thankful for all of the staff and mentors I’ve met in treatment and I could not ask for more! 10/10 would recommend.
Decent facility. Some employees are great and others are not just like any other place of employment. It's a business and the bottom line is prioritized as in any business. Admissions is all about sales so take with a grain of salt.
Enjoyed my stay & my California Vaca! I enjoyed the camaraderie of the clients & it was a fabulous facility. I do believe that all the aftercare is for insurance purposes only. You will not be accepted into this program if your insurance isn’t up to standard. I would’ve appreciated more individual attention by cash managers, etc, seeing how they charge upwards of $5,000 a day, per person. Did they care? Did I get undivided attention? Maybe? Accolades to My therapist Jennifer Hellman & to Jason as well. Top Notch folks! As more clients entered the facility, the less attention was focused on us as individuals. Every message to reach out about my care, is autogenerated. Great, beautiful facility as it should be! Do they care about the patients/clients? As long as it fits their pocketbook. I highly recommend for a mental getaway! Love Candy, she’s the real MVP!! All therapist including Gregg-fabulous! Courtney, Ryan & Sarah are real & passionate and there for you & CARE. Who can forgot my Arin! The BEST-non nurse that ever was! 😘 Post this for others, please!! Do not spam it!! And I’d really appreciate an itemized statement of my meds! Thanks, Best Wishes Invigorate
Wonderful treatment center full of scientific-based information and emotional/mental support. The staff is also incredible! I felt very comfortable and got exactly what I needed at this facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
