List of James Wang's Reviews
Waaang was a part of a group of individuals who pushed medically unnecessary and non-consensual surgical procedures that have led to destruction of my health, irreversible damage to aesthetics, all while I was under the general anesthesia. You may ask me why I chose the newbie Waaang for my cosmetic surgical procedure? - I did not chose Waaang, as Waaang was simply forced on me in a so-called ghost surgery set-up. Ghost surgery occurs when a surgeon performs surgery on another surgeon's patient, and the surgeons are aware of the arrangement but the patient is not. Ghost surgery is a surgery in which the patient is not informed of or is misled as to the identity of the operating surgeon. It turns out that Waaang regularly performed ghost surgeries and nonconsensual procedures on unsuspecting live patients while going through his fellowship at McGaw Medical Center/Northwestern, as I have found a few other his patients that had similar injuries as me. A few of Waaang's patients like me are now crippled for the rest of their lives. What a Joke in a medical gown. Let's not forget the deeds of this clown. Spread the word to your next door neighbor about the Northwestern Medicine clowns like Waaang & Co. They are too dangerous for the patients health and overall safety.
DrJames Wang performed surgery on a bone spur on my left big toe. Throughout the process and after, Dr Wang was very attentive and always kept me abreast on what to expect before during and after. I would highly recommend him. He also in 2006 performed surgery on my Achilles….another successful procedure
DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOU. He ruined both of my feet. I cannot believe that he is still practicing. Frightening!
Doctor James C Wang DPM is a fabulous Doctor; I can't say enough about him. I wish I could deal with him for all my medical issues, beyond his specialty, too bad. He should lead a seminar on doctor-patient relationships. He would message me weekly in-between visits to see how I was making out. The Doc always asked me to reply with pictures so we could discuss any issues. He knows how to connect with patient. I highly recommend Doctor James C Wang DPM for his expertise and his humanity.
Do NOT let him touch you. Read his yelp reviews.
Very accommodating to get me in right away. On-site X-rays so within 45 minutes of arrival I knew I fractured my foot and crutched out with a brace. Within a few days I was walking and was able to snorkel in Hawaii. He followed up frequently via text so I was able to ask questions. 6 weeks later, I am able to run and play paddle tennis/pickle. Highly recommend!
I was very fortunate to have been treated with excellent care this last year by Dr. James C. Wang. Although trained as a surgeon he felt surgery was not the answer for me. He was open-minded and compassionate in regard to my chronic pain. I would highly recommend him to someone seeking out a fairminded physician who can "think outside the box" of traditional healthcare procedures. Cynthia Collins
I have been a patient of Dr. Wang's for nearly a decade and I've recommended many people to him in that time. He takes a thoughtful, common-sense approach; surgery is always the last resort. As an oft-injured athlete, he's guided me through damaged nerves in my feet, aggravated achilles tendons, and more. He's also provided top-notch care to my wife. He's communicative, friendly and he LISTENS. I can't recommend him enough.
I agree with the NEGATIVE REVIEWS. STAY AWAY. This guy was Mean to me & Unpleasant. NO help to my foot, is not a nice person on top of that. Find ANOTHER DR.
We sued this person in 2014 for the permanent damage he did to my foot with an unnecessary and mangled surgery. This is the third time he has been sued for the same malpractice. At that time another lawsuit was pending for the exact same misuse of his training and professional oath. He lied to me about what my injury was - a simple fifth metatarsal fracture, lied about the procedure he intended to perform, had me fill out paperwork in which he claimed to be an MD and orthopedic surgeon - which he is not - and performed a surgery that involved drilling four, four inch screws into my foot and attaching an outside rail, for no medical reason. He is deeply invested in the company which manufactures the device he uses, and he uses it a lot. Using this device, he wrongly drilled a screw through a joint. I am left with permanent pain and loss of function in my foot. The device he used is called an 'external fixator' and has legitimate use for complex multiple fractures which are severely out of alignment. My injury was simple, did not require intervention, and was removed by another doctor who was appalled at the device he saw for this simple fracture which should have been treated with a walking boot. Despite our best efforts, we did not prevail in this lawsuit. I remain appreciative of our judicial system and for the opportunity to face this person publicly, and in a court of law. I am hopeful that these multiple lawsuits being brought against Wang, and this steady humiliating public attention will eventually dampen the ease and sense of imperviousness with which he acts, and harms people who come to him in good faith. I am writing this to caution anyone who encounters this person to seek a different medical professional. He is confident, relaxed and lies easily and without hesitation in a court of law and in his practice. Please beware of this person until he is finally stopped.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
