Jay Lee's Online Review Report Card

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Jay Lee perform surgery on me when I broke my jaw in two places after an accident. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. I healed very quickly with no complications at all, and my bite is completely back to normal. Dr. Lee is a very talented surgeon, but he’s also extremely kind and caring. He made me feel safe throughout the entire process, and I’m very grateful to have had him as my doctor. 5/5 stars, thank you so much Dr. Lee and for giving me my smile back!

I broke my jaw in 3 places, an injury that I cannot recommend. Not only did Dr Lee fix my face on the operating table, he was communicative and compassionate both before the surgery, and afterwards in our followups, and took genuine interest in my recovery. These traits are often hard to find in a medical professional.

For two years I could not find anyone in Ventura County who knew how, or was willing to address it my issue. The things local oral maxillofacial surgeons said alarmed me and filled me with anxiety and dread....my jaw would definitely break, metal plates and screws, go in through my face, five days in the hospital, no one alive would know how to do this surgery, it would be so horrible that they would not want to put me through it. Finally a very experienced OMS told told me that I needed a world class surgeon. That is exactly what I found in Dr Lee . He is brilliant, compassionate, extremely skilled, gentle, listens to you and is confident and doesn't have an arrogant bone in his body. He quickly assessed the situation and took his time to explain it throughly Eight days after my consultation appointment he performed the surgery. A large jaw imbedded wisdom tooth was removed along with significant amount of jawbone and I never experienced any pain. He is a world class surgeon.

He quickly assessed the situation and took his time to explain it throughly...no wonder he also teaches at Cedar Sinai and that he is part of the renowned LA-COMS. Eight days after my consultation appointment with him he performed the surgery. A large jaw imbedded wisdom tooth was removed along with significant amount of jawbone and I never experienced any pain...never need anything but acetaminophen and ibuprofen. It has been almost three months and my mouth and life have been renewed. Dr Lee is definitely that world class surgeon. In addition he is a kind and wonderful person who treats his patients and team with the upmost regard. My gratitude knows no bounds.

Dr. Lee was beyond amazing with my implant surgery! He went above and beyond to make sure it was done with absolute perfection. He is very friendly, didn't rush the appointments at all, and ensured all of my questions were answered. Plus, the rest of the team there are just as amazing!

Dr. Lee and his staff are top of the line. They provided a successful cancer surgery on me. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Dr. Lee was wonderful as my doctor pre, during and post surgery. I felt I was in good hands from the get-go because he was caring about my concerns, knowledgeable, experienced and I got the impression that he looking out for me with my surgery fears.Special mention for Kelsey Allen, Dr. Lee’s assistant who helped me navigate the process and kept in touch with me to make sure all was set or going ok. Very professional.Hope to return should I ever need their services.

Just wanted to give a huge thank you to Dr. Relle, Dr. Lee, Val, Theresa, and the entire staff! I had double jaw surgery with Dr. Relle in July of 2018, a bone graft by Dr. Lee in November of 2019 and 2 implants today. Would highly recommend both Dr. Lee or Dr. Relle! The entire staff is excellent and my experience here has been fantastic. Surgery’s are never fun, but the team here at LACOMS alway makes you feel at home.

As good an experience as dental surgery can be! Dr. Lee conference called us to avoid an office visit, and then when we arrived for the surgery took more time to explain the procedure. Best of all he didn't talk down to my teen and checked in with us via text once we were home. Everyone on his staff was helpful, kind and professional.

I was in need of an oral surgeon for root extraction/implant; I found Dr. Lee.  Dr. Lee is exceptionally knowledgeable, supportive, thorough, has a great sense of humor (tough role when you are an oral surgeon), personable, kind, empathetic and most importantly, caring.  He has the highest qualities of an excellent oral surgeon and a kind human being....and he is an MD to boot.  The staff was extraordinarily helpful, pleasant and very thorough in explaining process,  procedure and insurance/billing.  Everyone on this support team at LACOMS ROCKS; tipping my hat to an outstanding class of professionals.  I highly recommend Dr. Lee!
