Dr Kamins had been my migraine doctor for about 6 years. He has totally changed my life with his guidance and suggestions . He is a patient, caring doctor and I think the world of him. A true life saver for me!

Dr.Kamins is very kind, patient, compassionate, thoroughly listens to his patients, an excellent communicator, and is extremely knowledgeable of how to best handle all types of migraines. After over 2 years of suffering, I finally found the best and most capable neurologist, Dr.Kamins, who was the first of the 3 neurologists I had been to, to take his time and help me develop a treatment plan to tackle my complicated, debilitating migraine condition. Dr. Kamins is exemplary in how all physicians should conduct themselves with bedside manner. Truly a scholar and gentleman. I highly recommend the UCLA Neurology department. All of the staff from the receptionists, the coordinators, and physicians are tops.

I started seeing Dr. Kamins after seeing doctor after doctor for what seemed to be a lifetime. I had headaches that turned into debilitating migraines. My migraines brought on nausea, light and noise sensitivity and I had to just lie in my bed in complete darkness without a sound, just staring straight up into the ceiling for fear of making a move and vomiting. My migraines would sometimes last for days, weeks and even once an entire month. I was given drug after drug for years and nothing helped. One time I even had to admit myself into the hospital for over a week because I had such a horrific migraine I couldn't get out of bed and it was excruciating just to walk to the restroom. I was finally lucky enough to find Dr. Kamins and he came up with a specific treatment plan for me. For the first time...I was able to function like a normal human being. No headaches and especially no more migraines. I couldn't believe it. I was so grateful and only sorry I didn't find him so much sooner. Dr. Kamins is also one of the kindest and understanding Doctors. He really cares, listens to you and your concerns and actually wants to help you. I have several health problems and see a lot of doctors. This is VERY rare unfortunately. I would highly recommend Dr. Kamins. He really is the BEST!!! Not only has he helped my with my migraines, he's gone out of his way to help me with other health problems as well. That's how much he cares about his patients. Forget all the other doctors and just go straight to Dr. Kamins.

Dr Kamins has changed my life. I now have control over my headaches. He asked the right questions and confirmed that I had Hypnic Headaches, finally an answer to my middle of the night headaches. He worked hard with me to find the perfect balance and I am mostly pain free and sleeping better. Wish that I had a Dr Kamins in my life 20 years ago! The time I have wasted feeling bad. It’s great to be back in control.
