a kaiser doctor left a tube inside me from a previous surgery done by kaiser. now kaiser refuses my operation to get it out. still no one has reached out like they said they would.

DR. BRIAN THOMPSON AT KAISER SUNSET IS AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE DOCTOR. Individuals like him should not be practicing medicine as they have no compassion and understanding for their patients. He was rude, patronizing, and didn’t take time to even hear me list all of the symptoms I was experiencing. He came in with an idea in his head of what he thought I needed needed and had decided that my situation was not one that could be seen by him. Upon reading online reviews of him (after leaving his presence), I found that others had a similar issue.I went to the ER at Kaiser Sunset with heavy bleeding and lower abdominal pain that had been going on for over two months. My situation was getting worse as I was feeling nauseous for days, dizzy at times, and also had waning energy levels and strength.Dr. Brian Thompson refused to run any tests aside from a blood count, even upon my insisting. He didn’t listen to a word I said. He acts as if he knows his patients’ bodies better than they do.He entered the room before I finished changing into my gown (I had on just my undergarments) and insisted on helping, even though his hands were wet with a clear and white liquid(…I’m assuming that was from washing it or using hand sanitizer? God, I hope so.). Once he entered, he asked me what I was visiting for and before I could finish explaining he said all he could do what check my blood count. He said I needed to see my PCP (who isn’t with Kaiser), and I told him it takes usually over a month to see a specialist (with referrals and wait time) at my regular office. He told me I should not have even come to Kaiser! He simply didn’t care. I told him I urgently needed to stop bleeding and would at least like an ultrasound to make sure there was so sinister reason behind the pain and bleeding- he didn’t even listen to me.I walked out. Never before have I had such an experience with a doctor. I would have been better off staying at home.Thankfully, Kaiser was able to have me see another doctor about an hour later. This time a more empathetic and understanding doctor who also happened to be a woman. Without me even asking, she ordered a number of tests (including blood work and a pelvic ultrasound) and ensured me she would do whatever necessary to help me get to the bottom of this.Fast forward a couple days later, I received a call from the new doctor I saw saying there was an unidentifiable MASS on my ovary that was detected during the pelvic ultrasound she did…but all Thompson could do was test my blood levels though, right?Thank you for nothing, Brian Thompson. Kaiser should really let you go.

This Hospital and staff have saved my Father's life 3 times. I am very grateful. My daughter had her baby here and I had radiation here. I absolutely love the nurses and doctors. They are the most caring people.Te bad apples don't exist here. For 25 years it has been our Hospital and we plan to stay here. Thank you Kaiser.

Nurses are great, not so much for ancillary services... Traffic is always an ordeal in Sunset facility.

Better than Hollywood Presbyterian... Lol

If your a person of color, specially black or an elder person that’s alone, the help from anyone working here is very limited, rude, disrespectful, entitled. From the front desk with the security team (white shirts), to the medical staff, ending with the receptionists. This place has a huge problem with the treatment and attitude from the medical staff and it’s quite astonishing some of the things I’ve heard and seen from people who are suppose to be providing medical care. Kasier needs to hire secret fake patients to watch these employees. From my observations over the last month 2-3 days a week I would never recommend anyone to get care at this facility. Their irresponsible & no ones gonna listen until something worse happens than a fire on the 7th due to disgruntled ex employees. Get your employees under check.

My daughter and I got our vaccines today (9 yrs old first dose of Pfizer) (I got booster) it was a wonderful experience. 😊 10/10 I recommend getting your booster or covid vaccine here.

Currently in the ER! The Worst Service.Is Horrible!
