List of Keck Medicine Of Usc Usc Orthopaedic Surgery Hc2's Reviews
Dr Stevanovic is a capable physician but a bully. Be aware of this going in.
While I was very satisfied with Doctor Gamradt, I must report and warn all future patients that any procedure done in his office in Beverly Hills will incur a hefty 'minor surgery' claim to your insurance of several thousand dollars. This is in addition to the procedure cost and time. This charge is outrageous since this an office visit and not performed at the actual surgical center in San Pedro. The office and billing were intractable in hearing my appeal, because the Keck School of USC...Gamradt's office is a clinic and this add on charge is appropriate. In many cases, your insurance will cover a portion of this tacked on charge, but you (like me) could be stuck with a bill for hundreds of dollars. To anyone with common sense, this markup charge is akin to 'dealer markup' when buying a car. Purely a money grab from the insurance/patient in my opinion. I was not verbally informed of this charge and of the office's 'special' status as clinic. I was told there was a sign somewhere amongst the 20-30 signs to that effect... Warning to all patients, if you are getting a procedure done at any physician in the Keck School of USC group, demand in writing a detailed list of claims to be filed against your insurance BEFORE you have a procedure done.
Dr Gamradt is amazing. I came to see him about a shoulder issue before the pandemic and he took care of me. I was reluctant to have surgery, but I am glad I did. I was back to playing tennis in no time thanks to him. I am back for plantar fasciitis with Dr. Hong two years later. He takes his time explaining all the exercises I can do to help and the things I shouldn't do to help. I have so many questions because I really want to get back to playing tennis, and he answers them all with patience. The staff here is always willing to accommodate when they can.
Not an issue with the doctors, but rather Usc billing. For an steroid injection on the foot done in clinic, not the surgery center, USC billed the insurance $4,300. Insurance provided a discount, but still my insurance paid them $3500 for the injection. This is an insane price compared to other foot doctor who bill my insurance less than $200 for same steroid injections , which I have had in the past. USC over bills for all their services by thousands of dollars. Such a billing scam.
Zero stars. Saw Dr Paul Gilbert and he was dismissive and offered no solution for my concerns. As a fellow medical provider, this attitude is unacceptable when a patient presents with an issue and asks for solutions. Doctor was rushing through the consultation as I heard he was leaving for the day. Filing a grievance with my insurance as this was a complete waste of time and disrespect as a patient.
Layla is incompetent, but for some reason Dr. Weber was much more concerned about her feelings than my husbands chart being mixed up while seeking treatment. My sister in law is the Executive Director of a UC Hospital and she was blown away by Keck and told us how lucky we are that they did not perform a procedure on him because unless you play for a professional sports team they could care less.
I am the third generation in my family, who has entrusted Dr. Daniel Oakes with a difficult and important task:giving us a quality of life painless. Dr Oakes did a successful knee replacement to my month er and grandmother when she was in her early 90's. This past week, I had a knee replacement at Keck of LA. I was so apprehensive and nervous because of my already complex condition with post polio on both legs. Well , let me tell you: not only was it a total success like we knew it would be but also his team gave me top notch care before and after the procedure. In addition to that, I was lucky enough to stay extra time at the rehabilitation unit in the 3 floor of the hospital. I must commend everyone who I encountered in this process of recovery room and in the orthopedist floor 6 floor of the hospital. I have no words to thank these especial healing, selfless angels I came across in this Floor: RN Rebecca Bogdanoff, RN Jennifer Vosckerchyan, Perlita , Samia, Omo , Halleluya , Francisco, Lea who brought me with another wonderful soul into the floor. I was totally dependable on them for the most important activity to most simple one. They treated me with dignity , love and compassion. They were there to support me at all levels , from the youngest to the most experienced nurse/ staff . The RN's, Lvn's , assistance or aids went beyond their job description I am sure. They fixed equipment when didn't work properly, carried heavy objects I needed for my treatment. They were selfless and truly committed to provide with the best care possible. I really don't see this being an isolated act of kindness or dedication. During my short stay of 4 days under their care, I felt the healing process went even better than I had hoped for. I sincerely feel It in my hearth that their kindness and true compassion helped me to progress fast towards a more expedited recovery. I am filled with gratitude and positive energy to last me for this whole recuperation period. Rebecca and Jen were always on top of things, setting a tone for accountability and efficiency from the others. It seems like a very great team who respect and help each other in order to accomplish one common goal. I can't say enough compliments about these wonderful group of healers. It was a very espiritual experience being cared and shown love by complete strangers. Only my mom would have done many of the things that the nurses, aids and PA.s did for me. Thank you a million times.

I just want to say thank you to Dr. Stevanovic and everyone at Keck Medicine who helped me get through my injury. From the front desk to Pre OP to the Operation to Post Op every single person i encountered was professional, but most of all kind and caring. Thank you all, really.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
