List of Kindred Hospital Los Angeles's Reviews
This is the most scary place I ever seen, my experience was extremely unsatisfied with every single member of this "Hospital"... I never suffered seeing my parent being treated with so much disrespect and no care. It is just awful from the reception to the nurses and not mentioning "the poor supervision"... And if you love you dear relatives or friends, do not allow them to go to Kindred, they will die there, in their "ICU" without any proper care or equipment. The doctors are just awful... incompentents... it was so horrible seeing my dear relative dying there, that I will be remember this awful experience until the end of my own life.
My aunt was a recent patient at this hospital. She was on a breathing machine. Dr Hourani cared for her and she is now able to breathe on her own and she is back at home with us . Thank you to the doctor, the respiratory therapists and some of the rehab people for making her better. The other hospitals told us she was not going to make it but obviously they were wrong .This team of professionals at kindred deserves all the recognition 👏 🙌
Thank you to Doctor Hourani for taking care of my dad. Thank you to the hospital
Dr. Hourani was an excellent doctor. He composed a team of doctors to work on me and my case. As the Chief of Staff for the hospital he was able to get right on any problems and work to get them resolved as soon as possible! There were some problems that were out of his control having to do with individual workers not doing their jobs. Mosty on the overnight staff. Other than that this is an excellent place to start your long-term healing once you leave the acutecare hospital.
HORRIBLE experience!! Do not transfer your family members here, they will get the Candida auris ( fungus). It is an infection that is untreatable and even some doctors/nurses walk into rooms without safety precautions for it (gloves, gown etc). The facility is horrible: holes in walls, dirty environement and not enough translators. If you can, visit beforehand and see the condition of the place yourself. I will never send my family members here again. Honestly, the whole stay was unorganized, fustrating and at levels unprofessional.
Dr Hourani always checks the status of my husband and that is very beneficial for the mental and emotional aspect .My husband feel comfortable and confident around him .Thank you doctor.
Dr. Hourani is such a wonderful physician. He has great bedside manners. I came to this hospital very sick and because of him I'm going back to my rehab facility today. He is very polite and professional.
Dr Hourani took really good care of my mother while at kindred. She has had a quick recovery from being interned with ventilator and witching couple of weeks my mom got better and taken off the ventilator, She is improving day by day.
Father waited 4 hours for a diaper change! I understand most places are understaffed and overwhelmed but this was ridiculous. This is cruel treatment. I can overlook poor run down facilities but not heartlessness on the part of the staff. Looking into a transfer.
This place is ridiculous, talking to higher management in the hospital makes little to no difference. Things change for a few days and then the nurses go back to being their lazy selves. Most nurses are very dismissive and show very little compassion for family and patients. Few nurses show that they actually care. Almost as if they hate being there. I do see the CNA's busy changing and going from patient to patient. Unlike the nurses that are hard to find. Nebe, thank you for caring for my father and showing you care about your job. I feel sorry for those patients that don't have family members visit regularly. I see how other patients don't get attention. I can't imagine what goes on at night when no one is watching. It's exhausting to have to come and ask for basic care to be given to a loved one. My father was put in a room with 3 other patients without curtains. No privacy for any of the patients. It took 3 days to get curtains up.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
