This is worst hospital I been waiting with my daughter with pain for almost 4 hours in the waiting area not seen with by doctor not coming back
Had surgery on my broken wrist here today. Dr. Malafa and the whole team were amazing, I was extremely nervous because this was my first surgery. Right when I got there Dr. Malafa came to speak to me. He explained my procedure and he could tell that I was a bit nervous so he cracked a few jokes and made me feel extremely comfortable. If you ever have to have orthopedic surgery I highly recommend him. My pre-op nurse and surgical nurse were also just as amazing. They both could tell I was nervous and they made me extremely comfortable and made sure to keep me calm. I don't remember the nurses names but I am very thankful for them and I feel so blessed that I was able to be treated by them. I want to give a big thank you to the whole surgical team and Dr. Malafa for today. This was probably the best surgical experience anyone could have. I honestly feel like they all deserve a raise I don't know if you guys will see this but thank you all so much for everything you did for me. I am very grateful for you guys.
ER might be a long wait depending on the time and day, but you walk out with reasonable results. I been here multiple times and this hospital has yet not to disappoint.
Clean and the staff there are very kind and generous to your needs
Hello, I assisted the White Memorial hospital on 4/27/2022 for spotting, (was 8 weeks pregnant) i got there and they took blood and Urine. We went to do a ultrasound and I asked if my boyfriend can be there as I’d feel more comfortable. They said no cause there was students that were going to be seeing me as well, which I did not allow! When starting the ultrasound they told me nothing, I was on the bed crying, stressing waiting for someone to explain what was happening, nobody said anything, they were just whispering to one another. When the vaginal ultrasound was over they said I can go, I asked the doctor if I had a miscarriage, he said they didn’t know I asked if I can at least have a picture of my baby, they rejected that too. They said they’d call me in 2-3 days it’s been 4 days and nothing, I just want someone to explain what happened.I did have a miscarriage, but I don’t understand why they didn’t talk to me and explain everything.Hello, I assisted the White Memorial hospital on 4/27/2022 for spotting, (was 8 weeks pregnant) i got there and they took blood and Urine. I have never been so embarrassed, humiliated, and discriminated against until I visited White Memorial hospital. It started out as well as any hospital visit can go, my wife suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum. Prior to being admitted to White Memorial for 3 days, my wife was admitted to Cedars Sinai for 10 days. My wife had been seeking a private room, since noises and smells aggravated her condition. She was also concerned about other patients and visitors hearing her private information which is a known HIPAA violation. Shortly, after my wife requested a private room she was discharged from White Memorial on 4/29, barely in any condition to leave. By 9:30pm that night 4/29 my wife's pain, vomiting, and nausea had returned. On 4/30 my wife and I had our driver take us back to White Memorial where she proceeded to vomit in the ER. After hours of waiting we found out her blood pressure was 151/133. The charge nurse called upstairs to see if she could be admitted to a OBGYN unit that dealt with hypertension and hyperemesis. At this point I'm assuming this is pretty serious and the charge nurse assured me it's not based on the time of arrival but in order of severity. My wife informed them that only the IV team could administer an IV because she has blood clots in both of her arms due to seven(7) failed IV's while being admitted. They needed to draw blood again, which I could see being pretty hard to accomplish since she was so dehydrated. The nurse did not inform the phlebotomist of the blood clots after my wife just informed her. Apparently, there was a conversation stating they would continue to try to pull blood irregardless of the consequences. After another failed attempt with barely any blood and another collapsed vein, I was approached and asked to sit in the waitroom. I said "Due to the incompetence I have encountered I will not be leaving her side. " The nurse became extremely upset and said "Since you called me incompetant I was going to put a line in your wife's arm, but now I'm not" as she pointed her finger and said leave now! She proceeded to wheel my wife out of the hospital, at this point I stood in front of her wheelchair and said we are not going anywhere, you just blew another vein in her arm now you want to kick her out. I said you're refusing to provide adequate care to my wife. In the blink of an eye I found my pregnant wife and I surrounded by security. Yes!!!!! A pregnant woman with hyperemesis, hypertension, in a wheelchair surrounded, they stated that I threatened the nurse. As my wife explained that it is not in my character, my wife pulled out her cell phone in an attempt to record the uncomfortable situation, the charge nurse threatened to call the police on my sick pregnant wife if she didn't put her phone away. While sitting in the waiting room allied security came over and asked if we were leaving. My wife and I felt very uncomfortable, scared, and understood the coded language. We were simply not welcome there. We were afraid for our safety and had to seek treatment elsewhere. If I could give minus 5 stars I would. First they wouldn’t let me go back with my pregnant teenage daughter. Second they kept her 9 plus hours and didn’t offer her anything to eat until the 9th hour she was there. They kept giving her a different reason on what they was waiting for to release her every time they came in the room. She sat in a room for over a hour at a time before anyone would come in and check on her. One of the nurse’s knocked her phone off onto the floor and broke her screen so now her phone constantly glitches and can barely see the screen now. This place is unprofessional and keeps there patients isolated with no family member allowed in the room with them for comfort. My daughter is a minor regardless if she is pregnant and they should not have kept her mother from being with her that isn’t right. I actually will be in contact with someone about that matter. As I’m writing this I am still sitting in my car going on 10 hours waiting for my daughter to be released. They literally told me to go sit in my car because even the lobby is closed. My daughter is having a horrible experience and is calling me crying at 2:04 am because she is tired of sitting there and wants to go home and get some sleep comfortably in her bed but they keep giving different reasons on what they are waiting for and the last one was they are waiting on her x-ray results but mind you they did that x-ray around 10:30pm it’s now 2:06am. Please stay away from this hospital FAR AWAY!If I could give minus 5 stars I would. First they wouldn’t let me go back with my pregnant teenage daughter. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
