Our long term caregiver quit without notice. After some research and a recommendation from another agency, I contacted Mom's Home Care to assist us with the responsibility of providing a caregiver for my father. It has been life changing. From intake to placement, the entire team delivered. My dad's caregiver shows up completely focused on the daily tasks at hand and has integrated herself into our home environment with the presence of someone who understands the dynamics of helping with the care of someone's loved one who is ill. It is an honor for me to take care of my dad now as I did for my mother before her passing. Even with assistance from my husband and daughter and occasional help from my sisters, it was an unsustainable undertaking. I am forever grateful for the services that have been provided so far and for the light the caregiver brings into this home. I also realize our privilege to be able to afford, with incredible effort, this kind of support. I only hope that one day soon, one's economic status is completely removed from the equation. It takes a village indeed.

I wanted to share my experience . Mom's Home Care has been outstanding. I worked with Cari Harnish, client intake manager, was absolutely the very very BEST. My dad fell and broke his C-2 and was admitted to Cedar-Sinai ICU for 2 weeks. We needed a caretaker to stray with him 24 hours (12 hour shifts). I was referred to Cari and she held our hand and sent us amazing caretakers from day 1. She has been so understanding, helpful, provided the very best care takers for my dad, ALWAYS available and provided amazing advise. Mom's provided our family with a team of caring and concerned home aides for our mother's care. The verdict is in ; Cari is a Placement Specialist Extraordinaire! From the second I heard her voice I knew I was speaking with the right person! She is very personable, professional, compassionate and experienced in dealing with the nuances of finding home care for loved ones. The staff does a very good job of matching staff with the loved ones of clients. This has been a positive experience and I'm satisfied with their service.

Prior to coming to Mom's Home Care, our family had worked with a number of agencies and been less than satisfied. Our care manager mentioned Mom's Home Care and said she'd had great success working with the agency. We met with Cari Harnish, Client Intake Manager, and with great knowledge, caring and consideration for the specific needs of my mother, she worked with us to find caregivers that my mom enjoyed spending time with. I cannot agree more with all the 5 star rating for Mom's Home Care! Wow! Wow! Wow! That is all I can say about Cari and Mom's Home Care. Cari H. was probably among the best, most competent, caring, courteous, conscientious, supportive, considerate, knowledgeable, helpful person I have spoken to in a long time! And that is saying a lot because I am dealing with a family member in and out of hospice. So, I feel that I am always on the phone - needing someone's help and/or advice. I usually end up just frustrated. Not so with Cari! During this latest Covid spike, we thought we might need a back-up caregiver who would come into a Covid "situation" and because we had previously used Mom's Home Care (to find the best caregiver in the world!), we thought we would check back with Lucien again. I spoke to Cari and as soon as I explained our situation, she understood completely and was on the case! While always being so supportive and empathetic, she was efficient and constructive. She always called me back when she said she would, she checked in with us daily - I just cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mom's Home Care. From their front office (Marina!) to their administrative staff, they are simply the best! Every medical worker, doctor or nurse that has come into our home to care for our family member has mentioned how exceedingly well she is cared for. One doctor went so far as to say that our family member would not have "fared so well" with another caregiver! If you need a caregiver, call Mom's Home Care! You'll be so glad you did.
