I feel very fortunate that I was referred to see Dr Desaei. I was having ongoing pain for several months and I could not get any answers from several specialists. Most doctors just told me to "deal with my pain and I'd get used to it, eventually." Dr Desaei is one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors; he was willing to complete multiple tests and try several treatment options until we found a solution to my pain. It has been magical being able to live a normal life again.

We all want the same thing when we are sick, the best doctor we can find.I went through 3 months of emergency rooms and several doctors all giving me incorrect diagnosis or just couldn't figure it out, along with one surgery that didn't work.Then Dr. Desai was highly recommended to me and there was finally light at the end of a tunnel.  The first most important thing to me was that he read my mountains of previous results and then listened intently to what I had to say.Next he explained his plan to first run all tests, that other doctors had not done, and this became so important to an accurate diagnosis before planning any surgery.After carefully explaining what was needed to fix a very complicated and rareproblem, even drawing a picture out on paper, I finally felt like I was in the right hands with a confident and very caring doctor who would not give up on me.Dr. Desai came to see me everyday in the hospital, has called me at home,and saved my kidney that, without his help and determination, would have been destroyed.I can not thank Dr. Desai enough or recommend him more highly to anyone looking for the best doctor you can find.

Thank God for you Dr. Premal Desai, you are one great Doctor, cares about your patients, spend time with your patients, always pleasant to.Go beyond your line of duty! Don't go changing, stay as you are. Blessing, blessing to all your team!

Caring and kind seemingly, Dr. Desai is also sharp and on top of the scans and reports (this is a renal cell carcinoma/removal of kidney) and would explain with great cautionary measures and greater degree of thoroughness (more so than this one urologist oncological surgeon at City of Hope). Very approachable and does not make you feel he is in a hurry or annoyed by a lot of questions. Feel very safe to have family under his care.

Worst front dest. Girlz are rude. Make an appointment, and make you sit for nearly an hour

Dr. Desai has superb surgical skills (performed TURP vaporization for my BPH prostate condition); has a wonderfully communicative manner; sincerely cares for his patient; had has a top-flight staff. One of the absolute best doctors I've ever had the privilege and pleasure of seeing. He's chief of Urology at one of the finest hospitals (Cedars-Sinai Hospital) as well.Definitely worth going to L.A. from my home in Hawaii to have him operate on me. Ronald Schecter Ronald Schecter.

I had to say "Good Bye" to Dr. Premal Desai today after a final post treatment and lab tests consultation, because I retired and have to deal with Medicare and the secondary health insurance provider "United Health Care" under their rules of networking within the county where I live and I have to take the HMO option since the PPO is prohibitively expensive. I know that I can turn to his expertise if I ever have a question and he will consult with the new doctor I have to choose! Never expected that my Doc would give me a bear hug wishing me the best I should expect! The Tower Urology staff is awesome, helpful, efficient and devoted! Best place you can be treated for whatever ails you in that field of medicine! Dr. Premal Desai will only recommend and perform whatever is best for you! Thank you Dr. Desai! You've been not only my most effective physician but you've become a friend in the course of our medical relationship!

Dr. Desai is a very special combination of a well informed ( always up to date with the latest research) experienced, and very skillful specialist who is also infinitely passionate and caring. I am so grateful that I was referred to him by my Primary Physician. I had a life-changing health issue,  and from the moment I met Dr. Desai, through my surgical procedure, to the present day, I feel Dr. Desai's skill, knowledge, and care (I have always felt I was his only patient) has been a significant factor in my continued good health. Thank you Dr. Desai.

How can I put this? How grateful would you be to the doctor who saves you from  having your prostate needlessly removed?When some possibly cancerous indications turned up, I had the incredible good fortune of being referred to Dr. Desai. With his reassuring calmness and clear, patient explanations that were always respectful of my intelligence, he helped me navigate through a careful regimen of testing. Thanks to his guidance and his use of state-of-the art diagnostics, we steered past a number of points where it could have been easy to panic and decide to take the thing out.As it happens, I'm fine, no surgery or radiation necessary. We're continuing to prudently keep tabs on things through a careful program of gold-standard follow-up.Thank you, Dr. Desai. You're an A-1 doctor and an A-1 human being.
