My brother-in-law has been struggling with Alzheimers for years and it finally got to be too much for my sister to handle herself, so she reached out to Presidio. Eric and his staff at Presidio's Los Angeles location have been nothing short of amazing, providing the compassionate, professional care and support for my sister and brother-in-law. I can't say enough good things about Eric and his people. I recommend them without hesitation!

We had worked with Presidio Home Care for over a year to help care for our father who is suffering from Alzheimer's. Their professionalism, quality of care, and ongoing genuine concern for our family's well being was always paramount for them. We could not have asked for a better company to work with! Most notable, however, was their all-star performance as we needed to end our work with Presidio and transition our father to a board and care home earlier this year. Presidio brought all of their expertise and knowledge to the table to introduce us to not only the process of selecting a facility, but to the people and resources that would end up making all the difference for us! We would never have known how to navigate this daunting task without Presidio's help. I've been working with Presidio to help care for my grandmother for over a year, and have continued to be so grateful for the amount of care and attention they provide her. Since this recent pandemic, they've gone even further above and beyond. -They communicate with her and the rest of our family on all the steps they are taking to keep her safe, allowing us real peace of mind. -All Home Care Aides have been fully-equipped with N95 respirators, which they wear at all times while on duty. So important! -They provide a Family Protection Package to all clients' families, as well as all employees' families, which contain 4 KN95 respirators, 1 large pump hand sanitizer, and 4 small travel hand sanitizers. The gift bag it comes in was just a nice little bonus and a sign of real care and effort. -Finally, Presidio is always fully stocked with disposable medical equipment (gloves, lysol wipes, hand sanitizers, etc.) in case clients and/or their families are not able to find these items! This has been so incredibly helpful! I can't imagine what I'd do without the help of the Presidio team, especially during these unprecedented times. So grateful and I can't recommend them enough!

We hired Presidio Home Care (Pasadena office) to care for my husband's parents over 7 years ago, and we were impressed by their exceptional service. When it was time to hire caregivers for my elderly mother, I did not hesitate to contact Presidio Home Care again. Due to the location of my mother's residence, Colin introduced me to Eric from Presidio Home Care (Los Angeles office). Colin made sure the transition to the Los Angeles office was a smooth one. Eric is very responsive and put together a great team of caregivers to take care of my mother on a daily basis. Eric has a strong work ethic and always goes the extra mile. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eric and the caregivers took special care to clean/ sanitize and wear masks whenever they are around my mother. He always keeps us updated and makes sure all of my mother's needs are met. Presidio Home Care is a true blessing!

Presidio Home Care has been a part of my family for over 4 1/2 years. They have not only provided the best of service for my mother and my husband, but, have also provided me with the peace of mind knowing that they were always available 24/7. Presidio's highly trained caretakers are by far the finest! These caretakers are qualified (mostly RN students), compassionate and offer more love and comfort than one could hope for. Colin and Justin, at the Pasadena office, have seamlessly provided caretakers for my invalid mother for over 4 1/2 years, and I cannot find the words to describe how grateful I am for their constant assistance over the years. In September 2019, Eric, from Presidio's Los Angeles office, stepped in when I could no longer care for my husband alone. Eric immediately placed caretakers who helped me tremendously during this difficult time. Thank you Colin, Justin and Eric for all you do, and for always making us feel like family.

Besides the basic checks like making sure they were licensed and bonded, I was weary finding a home health care company for my Aunt. The few I interviewed were vague in how they would care for her, and the pricing wasn’t straightforward— deliberately vague because they wanted to up sell me on services which also made me concerned that unless I paid for services we didn't need my Aunt would be given basic care. Once I met with Presidio and they explained the fee structure I felt pretty confident about the overall transparency. They charge a flat hourly rate and have an app so they can see the time the caregivers clock in and out. Any on-site training for their employees was not billed. The level of professionalism showed throughout and their supervisors were accessible for any follow-up. They even had special in-house shoes out of respect for how we keep our house. The consistent and honest service was greatly appreciated. My family is very thankful.

I was having a hard time finding someone in the home health care business who would genuinely answer my questions without trying to sell me. Talking with Eric changed all of that. It was clear that Eric was truly interested in making sure I found the right health care fit for my grandmother. He took the time to walk me through everything in detail and was very clear and knowledgeable. I have called back several times and my calls are always answered, or promptly replied to. It is clear that their business is about helping people and I am moving forward with Presidio as the option to ensure my grandmother gets the best care possible. I get the sense they treat their business and employees like family, and that is why I would recommend them to everyone!

I’ve been meaning to sit down and write this review for awhile. Now that things have settled somewhat, I wanted to take the time to share my experience and hopefully it’ll help other Yelpers in similar situations. First of all, it’s been an exhausting process, to say the least, trying to find the right care for my grandfather. It was difficult just knowing where to start, what questions to ask, who to trust.... And, this was the first time my family had encountered something like this. Everyone was really emotional just dealing with his condition and I was tasked with finding help for him and for us. So, it was very overwhelming at first. After tons and tons of online research and phone calls, I finally found Presidio and they have just been wonderful for my family! When I called other places, many of them felt very impersonal, some felt like a sales pitches, and some left me with more questions than answers. But, Presidio was different. I spoke with Eric and he was the first person to really start a dialogue with me. He was very patient answering my 10,000 questions and I didn’t feel pressured to wrap up our phone call. He was very kind and informative. I discovered that they were family owned and everyone in their family was in the medial field. That gave me a lot of comfort! And really made them stand out to me. Trust was a big factor in my decision and Presidio has really been great. Their client care coordinator is actually a nurse, too. And their care aides, who are mostly nursing students, are so bubbly and awesome. Everyone is so hands on and attentive. But, the best is that they really take care of everything. I can give them any preferences or directions and they just follow through. These past few months have been a whirlwind. But, I’m so glad I was able to find Eric and Presidio. They’ve really made a tough situation and transition for my family a lot less painful.

I was recently asked to help give breathing treatments to my friend's grandma Dorothy, who was 97 years old, as I'm a respiratory therapist. My friend's family had also hired Presidio Home Care to assist Dorothy with her daily living. From what I saw they were excellent. Very thorough and caring. Anna, the nicest caregiver I've ever met, helped her walk around the house and with everything else she needed to do. They cooked every meal and helped her eat. They even read the newspaper to her while she ate, which I thought was going way above and beyond what a caregiver would do. Her house was always clean and tidy so Dorothy wouldn't trip and fall on anything. They drove her to all her doctors appointments and even to church every Sunday. If my friend had a question about something Anna would call the office and he'd get an answer almost immediately from her supervisor. If I ever needed home health care for my family I am definitely using Presidio.
