It’s very rare for me to ever post a review online, but I have nothing but good words for the team at Remedy psychiatry. I came in struggling with my day to day life, whether it was school, work, relationships, you name it. I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Amy Enis, with her professional help it has turned my entire life around, I now feel like I have a grasp of my future. Remedy psychiatry is not only a remedy but a life changer

Couple weeks ago I had an ADHD assessment with Abigail and she made me feel so calm. I had been craving to know what type of ADHD I had, thinking about it for most my life. Abigail and I met over zoom and it was a very easy conversation. We could communicate through messaging in my portal and Abigail would get back to within 2 days which made me feel comfortable, choosing the right team to take care of my ADHD and Anxiety issues.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with “telehealth” and I would strongly caution anyone considering their services. The lack of empathy was glaring from the very start. They do not take the time to understand why you're depressed or what's actually going on in your life. It's as if your circumstances, your environment, or even your extreme mood swings of which you’re seeking help for, do not matter at all. These “medical professionals” here if you can call them that, absolutely do not care about the root causes of your mental health struggles, and they certainly don't want to explore any of the personal factors contributing to your depression, anxiety, mood swings, etc. Instead, the focus is solely on prescribing you medication-SSRI or SNRI-and that's it. The entire interaction felt transactional, as though I were just a number to get processed. The rush to push you off the phone, with little to no real conversation, it makes you feel like cattle being herded through for a paycheck. I was shocked at how little attention was paid to my actual needs or concerns. The NURSE PRACTITIONERS don't seem to care about your unique situation; they just offer a generic, one-size-fits-all approach. If you're seeking real support or a provider who truly cares about your mental well-being, look elsewhere. They are sitting at home behind a screen in different states or countries; almost bothered by your problems, it’s a sad day in America where this is considered as any form of appropriate treatment or behavioral health care! This place is an absolute joke. And if you don’t like one provider, do not try to switch around or else they will have the worst attitude when you return. I didn’t know it was a crime to try a different NP considering none of these people have helped in anyway, of course I’m going to try different providers. If you're seeking real support or a provider who truly cares about your mental well-being, look elsewhere. This place doesn't seem to have any interest in actually helping you-they just want to get you on medication and move on. If you're looking for compassion and a personalized treatment plan, this is not the place. Given the lack of individualized care and the impersonal approach I encountered, I feel as though I could simply consult the DSM-5 myself, and prescribe my own medications without any professional input. The level of education and expertise demonstrated during my appointment was so minimal that I believe I could handle my own treatment with a more personalized and informed approach. Frankly, I am disturbed by the lack of medical professionalism exhibited here, as it raises serious concerns about the quality of care and the genuine commitment to patient well-being.
