Fantastic experience ! One of the best decisions I have made in my life was to choose Samson Hair Restoration for my hair restoration procedure. I checked out multiple other hair restoration surgical centers in Southern California over the past several years for treatment of my receding hairline. I have been an Emergency Room Physician throughout Southern and Central California for 30 + years and am very selective as to what medical center or Physician i allow to treat myself or my family. From the first time I spoke to Tina McCullough and then went to the office for a consultation, I knew Samson Hair Restoration was the right choice. Tina has been in the hair restoration business for many years and actually worked with Dr. Bosley. She knows this business as well as anybody. The staff was incredible and attentive. The procedure went smoothly. I am 6 months post-procedure and the results and hair regrowth have far exceeded my expectations ! Tina has been in contact since the procedure and has checks on my progress. I have multiple comments such as "you look different" and "you look younger". Price should be a red flag. The mention of Bosley should be a red flag. Their "physician" instead of dedicated "surgeon" should be a red flag. Their lack of answering simple questions and intentional efforts to not answer them after multiple times should be a red flag. I contacted this office hoping that they were legit, but I've come to my own conclusion that they are not based on my interactions with them. (Yeah, they'll say they never heard of me, and that's only true in that I'm using a pseudonym on here, but I have the receipts to back this up and if needed I'll post the emails :)- ). I reached out and contacted them, first it took almost a week for the first response, then a few more communications with about a 1.5 week in between those next responses. The conversation started to quickly and immediately drop off after I asked to see the contracts/agreements/forms over email. These are docs that anyone would need to review, agree to and sign before any surgery is performed. They clearly do not want me to see them, because they continued to avoid me after that. After a few more attempts to get an answer, the rep Tina said that the doc's policy is that I need to come into the office in person and have a consultation with the doctor before I can see any paperwork. Mind you I already had a video consultation with Tina before I asked for these. But I was not provided these docs at all. Something is clearly shady with this "clinic". When they start dodging important questions, especially around contracts/legal/etc, you know there's something up their sleeves. I also asked about if the "physician" performed the punches, extractions and graft implant sites, and was interestingly told that the "physician" makes the punches and implant sites, but does not extract the grafts from the donor region. This isn't just strange, in California it's ILLEGAL! Every surgeon I've spoken with from CA has specifically noted that THEY do those parts, and that the assistants only place the grafts into the recipient sites. Check here - After those few exchanges they just simply stopped responding all together because they know they're shady and don't want to get caught. I would stay far away from this cheap shady "business". Also, any company that has a "what's our why" language on their site is definitely shady. I worked for a very shady scummy Israeli business owner and they used that language. They were shut down by the FTC and sued for mega millions, oh and the FTC won. Trust me, stay away from companies that use that language, it's just a front.PS. if anyone gets a hold of those docs, please share so we can really see what clauses they put in there so you don't sue them for shit quality unsafe illegal work.

If you look at my reviews for some of these other businesses , you will know that when I'm not satisfied I will definitely let it be known , but I definitely recommend this place for those of us that are not too gifted in the hair department , I just came back from my procedure (1000 grafts) and these ladies that work there have some of the best customer service skills (specially tina, she's a sweetheart ) they are very kind, treat you like family and very informative explaining the whole process, everything went smooth as butter the doctor that worked on me it was very gentle had very light soft hands, I hardly felt anything, pretty much fell asleep during the whole procedure, the only thing you will probably feel will be the anesthesia injections to numb your scalp but then it feels like a deep head massage, everything's easy from then on and everything's healing perfectly,they even keep up with you days after your procedure, they contact you to make sure you're healing is going well, I would definitely recommend and I will likely be coming back for a facial procedure in the future, as far as pricing goes they are some of the most reasonable places around, I did a lot of comparing and some of these other places charge a lot more, I had even considered going to Mexico to get this procedure done but honestly is not worth going there and risk losing your life for some work that's not even guaranteed just to save a few bucks, once again thank you Samson hair restoration update : right now im finally going through the hair shedding phase to make way for the new hair to grow, I'm already impressed as it is, I can't wait to see the final result

I'm only about 10 weeks out, so I can't comment on the final product, but so far it looks good. First of all, I found out about Samson because my wife was getting a hernia repaired, and I asked the place she was at - which was awesome - if they recommended anyplace. They gave me this number. I also reached out to a few other places, but Samson not only had the best pricing, they Tina made it feel like I was talking to a real human being, and not some corporate salesperson, just doing their job. Now, as for the procedure, it really wasn't that bad. I did 3000 grafts. They offered me a Valium, and I said "Do people usually take the Valium?" And I was told "EVERYBODY does." But we realized that because I have Apnea, it'd be better not to take it. So, even without the Valium, the pain level was no big deal. I'd say the discomfort level was about that of going to the dentist. You feel the initial shots to numb the skin, and every once in a while, when they were putting a graft in, I could feel it for a second or two, but overall, pretty easy. The first part of the day they numbed me up. I lay face down. They shaved down the back of my head and removed 3000 grafts. They stopped for lunch, then the doctor puts 3000 little holes in your head with a needle, and in my case, 3 very nice techs stood around and put the grafts into the little holes. I went home that night, and I couldn't take the Tylenol with Codeine, because - again - Apnea. So I just took extra strength Tylenol. And I was fine. Then next night, I stopped taking Tylenol at all. It was fine. The hardest part was sleeping upright for 5 nights. My face looked pretty funny for a few days, it was definitely swollen, and I got to see what I'd look like as a roided out pro-wrestler. I even flew a week later to Florida for Christmas. Even at this phase, when it all looked funny, everyone said "Oh, that looks good." Basically, they could see the shape of what my hairline will eventually look like. Some hair fell out. Some grew in and when it did, it pushed up tiny bits of dead skin that eventually fell out in the second week. Now it still looks thin (at this phase, you're only supposed to have about 20% of the growth that you will eventually get) and it's still a little weird in that I've got some longer hair, and all these short hairs are just sprouting. I'm hoping in another month or so it'll all even out. Every once in a while I get a little itching, which is awesome, because it means new hairs are growing where I feel it. It's kind of fun to watch. Finally, the other day, my 8 year olf daughter looked at me and said. "Hmm. It's growing in dad." Then she smiled, and said "It looks good!" That made my day.

Fantastic, talented staff. Efficient throughout the entire process. Professional, while maintaining a comfortable and casual environment from start to finish. And at 4 months post op, I'm already happy enough with what I see to have made it worth the money. wish I had done this years ago!

I could not be any happier with Samson Hair Restoration!! Their team of physicians, nurses, and technicians really made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process! Initially I was really worried that my hair had thinned too much, ultimately not making me a candidate for the hair transplant procedure. I'm really thankful that the doctor was so knowledgeable and honest during my consultation. This was probably one of the best decisions of my life! What started out as a very nerve racking morning ended in an awesome experience. I arrived and was quickly greeted by the team. The procedure was quite extensive, but they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Everyone worked very well together. I was provided with detailed aftercare instructions and the team has been available since to answer any questions that come up. Definitely recommend the team at Samson!
