Dr. Shahram Salimitari is a wonderful man! Such a caring and understanding individual. When making a huge decision like weight loss surgery, it can be a very hard decision when it comes to trusting a good doctor and surgeon. Trust the other reviews, they don't lie. You are in great hands with Dr. Salimitari. I wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

Too bad that I have to give even one star. I had the MOST HORRIBLE experience with Dr Salimitari. Today, after waiting over an hour in his office I was told by him that I was morbidly obese, my high blood pressure was slowly killing me and the doctor which performed my lap band surgery in 2003 in Mexico (by the way, great Doctor and very professional staff) were GARBAGE! Because I was asking questions, he told me that because I think I know everything, I should go and treat myself!!! All I came for is a consultation about acid reflux that I am suffering from?????

I had the most horrible experience with Dr Salimitari. Today was my first telemedicine appt with Doctor Salimitari and it was wonderful. He listened to my concerned, answered my questions and gave me more information than I would have thought to ask about. Made me totally feel confident and comfortable to take the next step. Thank you so much

Dr. Salilitari great surgeon thanks to him I've lost 100 pounds and feel awesome. Very kool person and great to have a Conversation about your up coming surgery. Makes you less nervous about your surgery when his talking to you about your procedures

I had an amazing experience with West Medical. All the doctor and staff were very helpful. I had a complication at 1 mo post op and doctor were quickly able to guide me to recovering and continuing my weight loss journey. Selecting West Medical for my journey was the decision I've ever made.

I had the best care and experience anyone could have asked for. My gastric sleeve was done just over a year ago and I've maintained what I've lost and couldn't be happier.The staff were great and attentive. I can't say enough about them. I'd recommend anyone who is considering this surgery to go for it!
