List of Southern California Permanente Medical Group's Reviews
It's like no one knows what they are doing. I just needed a referral to OB. After 4 days it's turned to me not getting an appointment and talking to 8 different employees. I have an authorized referral yet no one will schedule my appointment. All I hear is I'll get a call back. I receive a call and voicemail. Call back. And they tell me they'll call back or that I have the wrong department. I can't wait until open enrollment begins I can't deal with this.
COVID restrictions do not allow a patent accompany a minor from the same house hold while visiting their grandfather who has stage 4 cancer. It is absolutely ridiculous a 14 year old has to see a dieing grandparent without their parent as an emotional support. My son and I are both FULLY VACCINATED, wearing MASKS... when will people wake up? This is more damaging than anything their are "protecting" us from. This will not end...
Today, has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I've ever had. Kaiser is dropping the ball on the guest experience. I'm actually livid! I've been sick for two days with some covid symptoms. I took the ridiculous assessment so that I could get tested. The assessment told me to monitor the symptoms... I'M SICK! Of all the locations that Kaiser has, there was not one that could see me. NONE! I then, opted to see the virtual doctor, which was also no help. He prescribed me some OTC meds and scheduled a covid test. I asked would it be same day, and he said it would. It was not. Finally, I was feeling so bad, I came to the ER, where there is an EIGHT HOUR WAIT!!! I've been here simce 6pm, and it is now 11p. I know we're in a pandemic, but come on! Is it staffing? Leadership?? What is happening?!?! There is no excuse for the experiences I've had today. The waiting room is filled to capacity right now and the staff is overwhelmed. Most importantly, people are being treated in a timely manner.
great place
I love this hospital, I work with hospitals all the time and I visited while I was doing something for work, easily got my flu shot within a minute of parking and easily got great variety of snacks, the little things make a difference. Overall, pretty good, just annoying I need my vaccine card to a hospital when they are the ones who gave me the vaccine.
Horrible experience in the delivery room!!! Do not have your baby there! All they want is to do c section to all the women without being necessarily. The epidural tech is not professional and the staff don't care about you. All they care is about your insurance!!!
The nurses and doctors are awesome! Can't say enough of good things about them.they took care of me in a time of an emergency very nice, caring and attentive & believe or not there food was actually pretty good! thank you so much saving my life!
Avoid at all costs. This is known as the “Walmart of healthcare”. They have been fined millions of dollars for medical neglect. If you care about yourself or loved one run don’t walk from this place
The nursing staff was remarkable. Very focused. Worked well together. It became very obvious to me as a patient that I was in very competent hands. I can't imagine any hospital having a better qualified and effective nursing staff. My sincerest gratitude to the KP nursing staff for their dedication to helping me to receiving a rapid recovery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
