Dr. Michael Yeh is a world class endocrine surgeon. I had a procedure with him, to remove a thyroid lobe, cleansing metastatic lymph nodes and parathyroid gland transplant. It was flawlessly executed. I am grateful to Dr. Yeh and his entire team.

Dr. Michael Yeh and the UCLA Endocrine Surgery team successfully performed a thyroid lobectomy on my left thyroid lobe. This surgery removed a cancerous node. The incision was thoughtfully placed in a fold such that it is invisible now.I am particularly pleased with the beneficial outcome and appreciate the courteous overall experience.The UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center provided comprehensive modern and comfortable facilities for the procedure.

Dr Yeh and all of his staff went above and beyond to help me with my surgery. From my first appointment I knew I was in good hands. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly in the office. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment either. We got it scheduled very easily. And I can say it's been almost a month since my surgery I healed really well, my scar looks great and most importantly I feel a lot better. I would recommend Dr Yeh to anyone with thyroid problems. He knows his stuff!

I think that Dr. Masha Livhits’ experience and kind heart is what lead to an amazing experience with my surgery . . . After being released from outpatient surgery I felt well. I was able to move easily, get in the car, talk, and eat. My head and neck could move easily without pain. I was really able to do anything although I did remain home to avoid infections, etc. The recovery was incredible. Months earlier a different doctor at another organization performed the 1st hemithyroidectomy. After the 1st surgery, there was a lot of pain and with difficulty moving my head and neck. It was difficult for me to sleep for some time. I thought that was the norm. However, the outcome with the 2nd surgery with Dr. Livhitz was great and with hardly any recovery time. Thank you Dr Livhits.

UCLA Endocrine Center (Left Thyroidectomy & Parathyroid surgeries)- Dr. Michael Yeh, my surgeon, possesses both in depth clinical knowledge and a reassuring demeanor when explaining treatment options. Dr. Yeh addressed all my questions and surgery concerns with the utmost respect. My surgery outcome has been a very positive experience. Both the medical staff and the surgeon work together as an efficient and caring Team. The UCLA Endocrine Center exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Yeh is a gifted surgeon and a very kind person. I felt very comfortable with him from my first visit when he greeted me with care, listened to all my concerns, and answered all my questions . He thoroughly explained the diagnosis, the objectives of the surgery, the risks, and the recovery time. He has an amazing team at his office as well as the hospital who got me ready for the surgery and took good care of me after the operation. I had my surgery less than three weeks ago. By the end of the second week I was back to my normal daily activities with no complications. I highly highly recommend Dr. Yeh.

Dr. Famini is the best. I’ve been seeing him since I was diagnosis with cancer in 2020. He is easy to talk to and he explains everything to me clearly. I am able to get appointments that work with my schedule with no problem. I am sure Ucla has a lot of great endocrinologist, but I am glad Dr Famini is my endocrinologist. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is going through what I am going through, cancer.

Everything went extremely well with Dr. Livhits and her team. She explained my thyroidectomy procedure to me and everything went smoothly. She explained the results clearly and kindly and followed up and answered all my questions. I haven’t had any problems or issues and I’ve felt very comfortable talking to her.
