Dr. King and his staff are incredible. If I could give more stars I would. He is truly a hero and at the top of his game, the absolute best in Chiari malformation. He was extremely attentive and answered every question with clarity. He checked on me before the surgery, during the recovery, and after I left the hospital. He was extremely accurate in his description of the recovery. The most important part is the fact that I'm completely back to work and feel absolutely no pain. My surgery was only a month ago and I feel better than I did prior to surgery. If you are looking for a top tier neurosurgeon Dr. King is the best option.

Brisa Kriner, Chiari Global Ambassador, referred me. I was hesitant to call, being that they are in Beverly Hills, and I was unsure if I could afford the visit. Kathy was able to help me schedule my first appointment; they helped me with my insurance. Insurance paid a portion, leaving me with less than I expected. Dr. King is highly knowledgeable when it comes to Chiari and all the challenges it is associated with. He answered all my questions and those of my husband as well. Surgery is an option, and we are working towards that. Overall better than I expected. Worth the distance I traveled to see him.

I have nothing but great regard for Dr. Wesley King. He, alongside Dr. George Hanna, completed a task no other Neurosurgeon would go near. In 2014, a physician completed a Chiari Decompression Surgery; I will refrain from naming him as he only caused me a world of hurt. Not only was the surgery done incorrectly, but he disregarded a significant CSF obstruction and leak. Unfortunately, my case was so complex no other neurosurgeons would even dare to operate on me. It took almost eight years for this surgery, most notably for me, to find the appropriate physicians. Dr. King and Dr. Hanna not only gave me a second chance at life, but they also returned my life to me. I had the surgery on November 4, 2022, and thus far, I have accomplished things I had not done in the past eight years. I can stay up for more extended periods, sit up for longer, stand up for more prolonged periods, and walk further each day. Yes, I'm still recovering a day at a time, but I am happy to have had such a high success rate. My parent's noticed a change almost immediately. My friends have noticed a difference in my wanting to interact more. Chiari is an illness with no cure; for 20%, it's easily repaired, but for 80% of us, it slowly can take the joy out of life, and it took eight years of my life. I highly recommend Dr. King; he is honest and empathetic toward one's feelings. His staff is remarkable and is always available when you need them. They help you with every financial aspect or customize a form of payment/s depending on your financial situation. I can not speak more positively of such an excellent Dr. who will shortly be changing the lives of many of my Chiari Brothers and Sisters.

Dr. King is a very straightforward individual. He helped change my daughter's life, and I have nothing but appreciation for him. He completed a Chiari Decompression Surgery on my daughter. A surgery she waited years for. When no other physician dared to correct the Chiari Drooping, he didn't say no.On the contrary, he studied her case and reviewed it with colleagues. He ensured the success of her specific case. He changed her life and the life of many others who suffer from Chiari Malformation. I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Wesley King 8 years ago, after suffering years of pain, increased meds and other treatments. I had MVD surgery which took away the pain on my right side of my face. Fast forward to 2023. The nerve pain came back but this time on the left side. I called Dr. King’s office and left a message on a Friday to explain that I was again having pain. Imagine my surprise when Dr. King called me the next day (a Saturday) to say he was very concerned and wanted to discuss what was going on. I sent a message to my original doctor who is now at the Orofacial Pain Program at UCLA to ask if he would still recommend Dr. King. His response was “he is still our go to surgeon, the very best” During the meeting with Dr. King we decided that MVD surgery would still be the best option. I am again pain free thanks to Dr. King. Dr. King is very professional, kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable of Trigenimal Neuralgia.

The medical field should use Dr. Wesley King as the template for what "patient care" should be. He is a rare gem!

I had been sent to a neurologist for treatment of trigeminal neuralgia pain and was sent for an MRI. The doctor called me in the next day and told me I had a large tumor that was causing the pain and would need surgery. I only had one question for him. If he found out he needed this surgery, who would he go to? Without hesitation he said Dr, Wesley King and he was so right!I met with Dr. King and found him to be very calm, direct, and a good listener. He explained what the procedure would be and told me if I hadmore questions I could call (which I did). He was very patient and took thetime to explain everything. Dr. King and his crew were remarkable, got me through my brain surgeryand I am now a few months into recovery. I owe a huge Thank You to themall. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon.

My experience with Dr. King was absolutely amazing from the very start! He is a genuinely compassionate, thoughtful, and brilliant surgeon who showed a heartfelt desire to help me through treatment for trigeminal neuralgia. He easily saw what other doctors had missed, and ensured that I received the appropriate treatment and care straight away. Always keenly aware of how much pain this condition had put me through and wanting to help relieve me of that pain as soon as possible, Dr. King expertly informed me of all possible treatment options -- including microvascular decompression, which ended up being the absolute best decision we made together. In the lead up to the surgery (which was very quickly scheduled, without wasting any time whatsoever), Dr. King and his staff were always readily available to answer any and all questions my family had, and I felt deeply reassured that I was in very good hands -- a sentiment which was echoed by everyone who has had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. King. The surgery went absolutely flawlessly, and my recovery experience was just as seamless. I am now pain free and doing wonderfully! There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that this wouldn't have been possible without Dr. King, and both my family and I are immensely grateful for his expertise and most especially for his deep compassion -- he has been a true blessing in our lives and we cannot say enough good things about him! *Suffered with TN for 12 years prior to meeting Dr. King*Prior doctors prescribed medications that didn't work; TN progressively worsened, even had difficulty swallowing/eating/talking.
