Incredible visit with Dr. Lerman -- Life changing, no less. Spent time with me doing diagnostics and thoroughly treated -- I'm on the mend! Out of 4 podiatrists seen in this area, This is the one! I would completely trust him with surgery, even though not needed at this time.

Dr Chen and Dr Lerman helped diagnose my pickleball injury. A plantar plate tear. They showed me how to support by taping so that it could heal and provided stretches. Front office is efficient and communicative.

I have had painful bunions for most of my adult life. It came to a point where my left foot developed Morton’s neuroma and no matter what I did, I always felt nagging discomfort. I had delayed surgery twice in Germany where I lived and once in the Bay Area CA as I really wanted to go with someone who I could trust not just through my in person meetings, online research ( I did a lot of that ) but also intuitively. All the stars aligned when I met Dr Lerman in the summer. Long story short, my lapiplasty has gone so well, 2 months post op and back in my sneakers with minimal foot discomfort and pain. Dr Lerman has held space for me through many moments of angst, he’s patient, he’s kind, he’s caring, he’s funny and he’s EXPERIENCED. His whole team is a one big happy family who welcome you the minute you walk-in. Thank you Kim, Theresa and everyone else. Dr Lerman - so much gratitude for you. I am glad I went with lapiplasty and not the traditional bunionectomy and with Dr Lerman.

I got an appointment last minute since someone canceled. It was my first time going to a podiatrist so I was anxious, don't know what to do or expect. The front office staff was nice and friendly. I think they noticed my anxiety when I stepped inside the clinic. Dr. Chen was my dr and he also picked up on my anxiety and tried to get me to relax as he striked a conversation. Told me to play some music which kinda helped. I wanted my ingrown toenail fixed and the staff put lidocaine cream on my toe before dr. Chen walked in but he injected lidocaine on my big toe coz the cream didn't work as well. Overall the experience wasn't that bad. I'm glad I found this office. At least I know where to go if ever I have foot concerns again. Thank you :)

I have been a patient of Dr Lerman for many years. I drive from Daly City to Los Gatos cause he is truly the best. He really cares and listen to your concerns. Excellent staff and very friendly environment. Office is very organized and very clean. Highly recommend this doctor for any podiatry needs.

I have been going to Dr Lerman for years. He has always been a doctor that I can count on and trust with my health. He is awesome. I won't recommend this! Dr Pham only talked about homelessness trying to judge people! Secretary called me after 6 months saying they need my insurance information How did I manage to get seen by the doctor and you didn't get my insurance information. There's no way!!!So save yourself some time to go somewhere else My plantar fasciitis is still worse!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Lerman's for many years to help me w my very flat and painful feet. Unfortunately my left foot became too painful to treat w orthotics as my tendon shredded because of the bone deformation and it was time to consider surgery to both correct the bone deformity and repair the tendon. First of all I should say Dr. Lerman wanted to try every option over the years to prevent surgery (which I appreciated) because he told me about the difficult recovery and time. I was the one who said, it's time and he agreed after looking at my X-rays and seeing the damaged tendon. Bottom line, it's been 6 weeks and I'm already putting weight on the foot and at the gym using the stationary bike. The incisions were super clean, very little bruising and low level pain and after a few days, only Tylenol and his suggested Turmeric and Vitamin D. I have a ways to go still but I will say that Sr. Lerman in my opinion is not only a skilled surgeon, but he's truly a magician!! I am very thankful and recommend him to anyone!JV

As a card carrying member of the "white coat club" aka I'm 100% terrified of all doctors - I navigated a neglected bunion/hammertoe for years, taking my time in visiting different surgeons trying to find someone I'd trust to perform a surgery I needed, but absolutely did.not.want. I came across Foot and Ankle Medical Group, from there, I read some reviews, asked around a bit, made an appointment for a consult, promptly figured out that Dr. Bruce Lerman is the real deal, an absolute show.stopper of a foot surgeon.Clearly brilliant, with an investigative mind and an innate ability to connect, Dr. Lerman diagnosed my foot ailments, provided me with my options/solutions without skipping a beat. Added bonus, he is funny as hell which makes everything in life easier.As a patient, I was always kept well informed of my treatment plan & advised what the next best steps were for my particular ailment, no fuss, no muss - In the end Dr Lerman surgically corrected my Hallux Valgus, repaired my hammertoe, aka performed a successful bunion removal/bone fusion.At all times, my untold number of questions, fears and concerns were addressed and explained, utilizing terminology I understood. Patience and understanding can be a rarity these days but in this practice it's the norm. From Trish in reception, to billing, sign off, literally everyone within the practice, is proficient, organized, conscientious, communicative and supportive. Most importantly, Theresa, physician assistant, is an absolute god send, the star studded glue that has this group running like a well oiled machine!Overall, Dr. Lerman, along with his amazing staff, vastly exceeded all of my expectations. Truly can't thank Dr. Lerman and Foot & Ankle Medical Group enough for dealing with both me and my feet, putting me back in play and well on the road to recovery! Highly Recommend for any foot or ankle issue you may be experiencing.
