List of Dan Hopner's Reviews
The staff is so unprofessional and rude they don't know how to treat others with respect receptionist literally hang up the call and left me speaking. so disrespectful definitely not referring our patients to this provider.
I just called to get help regarding my son's blood work and the woman who picked the phone was extremely rude. She was yelling at me and was not helpful at all. I called labcorp and they told me it is the doctors responsibility to cancel the item I do not want after the blood is drawn. I told the receptionist to cancel the item and she refused.
Best Primary care physician office. I and my family have been going here since I was 13years old and I am now 43 years old. My adult children have now made this office their PCP because of how knowledgeable and caring this office has been. Highly recommend this office. They truly do care.
My father was a doctor, I was trained as a biochemist, and I have spent my career in the health-care business. Having just 'graduated' to Medicare, I have been seeing Dr. Hopner for the past year. Dr. Hopner is a first-rate physician. He listens to his patients (at least to me) - which is a critical indication of his professionalism - and he has been highly attentive and responsive to my needs. His staff has been fully professional, extremely polite, and pleasant to deal with. I do see some negative reviews about Dr. Hopner, but my experience has been very positive. I am very grateful to have found him.

After going there for preventive care that should be 100 % covered by my insurance, I ended up with a bill of over $100 to pay out of my pocket (and my PPO payed $180) because the doctor applied the wrong billing codes. Even after many months of phone calls, the doctor keeps on forgetting to correct them. Apart from that, this also seems to be the last doctor's office in the Bay area that uses the fax machine -- and complains that the other doctors are unable to receive their faxes. So I carried the referral from their office to the specialist myself. But I should also mention that the nurse who take care of me was the only bright spot in this place.
Can’t agree more with this review: “You might not have the chance to meet Dr. Hopner because you'll probably be redirected to his rude PAs. Giving it one star because putting up with all his rude staff and nurses isn't worth all the waiting and visits it will take until you see him” The same happened to me: I myself didn’t get to see the doctor either, but was questioned, literally, by this rude nurse practitioner. No staff in this office wore masks even when the pandemic was still serious. Really do not feel good in such people’s hands.
Horrible horrible experience. The operation hour is 9:30 am and I have been waiting outside to get Covid 19 vaccine for my baby . The website shows drop in but it's not truth . I have been waiting and waiting and a nurse told me that they are in stuff meeting and no time for appointments. I will never come back to this place and since they don't even care about patience

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
