List of Golden State Orthopedics And Spine's Reviews
First they lost my MRI and X-ray CDs , then I Showed up on time to see the Dr and was turned away told to make another appointment. Had plenty to talk with the Dr about but No , turned away. Told new MRI first,
No regard for my pain level and no questions asked..
Waste my time , waste of money,
Lost hours and wages at work..
will not go back..
Dr. Murray came highly recommended. I didn't have anything too complicated with my knee and he was as helpful as could be hoped for.

Expect to wait over an hour to see the doctor, unless you are the first appointment of the day. It would help patients if we could receive care by phone or video, which isn't an option.
I would not recommend Dr. Cohen. His attempt at an anatomic total shoulder replacement of my right shoulder ended with him aborting the surgery after 4.5 hours and only 1/2 the prosthetic joint placed. He never came to see me after the surgery or even called when I got home to explain what had gone wrong or to see how I was doing. It wasn't until I went to my 1 week follow up appt. that the ever changing stories began. It went from what was intended to be: total shoulder replacement, to what he documented with my insurance company: hemiarthoplasty, to what he told me in his office: a "ream and run" procedure. When asked direct questions in his office he was stuttering, vague and evasive but was quick to refer me to another surgeon he thought could perform a revision. After 8 weeks I had the revision surgery completed by an amazingly competent surgeon. My advice is do not use Dr. Cohen! My advice to Dr. Cohen is to stick to your patents and surgical devices you so braggingly display in the halls of your office and stay out of the OR for the sake of people you practice your mediocre surgical skills on.
1 hour long wait to see Dr Hendow. Horrible for someone in pain.

They need to manage their appointments better.
just simply expressing what I have experienced for 6 months. Starting from scheduling all the way to visiting a doctor at this place is horrible. There are some idiots in this place who got degrees about 40-50 years ago and call themselves a doctor and simply forgot even their medical oath. I can not even call jeffry coe a doctor. His communication level, his knowledge and memory all is in a terrible level. I can not imagine he is a share holder of this clinic and treat his patients with a very disrespectful and rude manners. He is all into money that's it. You may think all medical treatments are expensive and they charged me a lot and that's why I am writing a bad review. But, fortunately, that's not true because I had a Workers Comp case and I have not paid a penny out of of pocket.Anyway, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Think twice before you enter this clinic...
Nickolas Anidi is a truely terrible surgeon.
He rushes the appointments not explaining
Thoroughly how the surgical procedure is going to correct the problem or if it is really necessary.
Not to mention he offers no alternatives.
Once your 15 minutes is up a MA comes in room, his signal. Shame medical professionals are about dollar signs not quality of care, which is why I filed a complaint with the medical board.
I have much worse issues since surgery, caused
By his lack of attention to detail and hurrying in the operating room. Not only did it not succeed you never get to see hi post operative visits.
I could write pages on poor service, poor bedside manner, poor EVERYTHING.

Check in at the front deck is good. But when you go into waiting room. it OVEN 45min before the Dr come in
I've only met Dr. Murray once when he determined I needed an MRI for my knee. He is very knowledgeable, polite and professional; his staff was also very professional and welcoming on this initial visit. Dr. Murray said his office will call me back with pricing and schedule my MRI once they obtain pre-authorization from my insurance: 5 stars for doctor

After over a week of phone tag, I finally scheduled my MRI and I asked if my insurance covered the entire MRI.The person who scheduled my MRI recommended that I confirm the price with my insurance company since she didn't know the price. No problem. My insurance company said that I had met my deductible so my MRI was covered 100% by my insurance.

Today, October 18, 2021, I arrived at Dr. Murray's office for my MRI. The front desk gave me a form to sign to acknowledge that I would pay for the MRI if my insurance doesn't cover all the cost; this form also said to call Lori if I had questions about how much I'd owe their office for the MRI. I signed the form but told the front desk that I'd feel more comfortable if I call Lori at their office to verify the cost. I explained that nobody gave me Lori's contact info when I asked about payment at the time when my MRI was scheduled. I explained that my insurance said that the MRI was covered at a 100% but I didn't want any surprises. The front desk gals were understanding and told me to call Lori; I told the front desk ladies that I would step outside the waiting room to make the call since I didn't want to be rude to call in the waiting room. As soon as I called Lori, she answered the phone. I explained I needed to verify the MRI cost; she asked for my insurance information then she wanted to know what kind of MRI I was receiving. At that point, I saw and heard the MRI technician, Roman Pak, call my name. I went back inside the suite and explained to Roman that I was on a call with their billing department, Lori, and she needed to know the kind of MRI I was receiving today to provide the price. Roman Pak seemed angry and did not answer my question. I apologized and explained that I had asked for this price before my appointment but just learned about calling Lori on today's form. He seemed frustrated and pointed to his watch and said it was getting late. Lori said that she found my chart and confirmed that my MRI was completely covered by my insurance. MRI is an expensive test so I didn't want any surprises with getting a fat bill from the doctor's office. This call with Lori took less than a minute. I followed Roman Pak to the MRI section. He continued to speak with me in a rude tone of voice; he was far from being professional! He opened a locker and told me to put my purse in the locker. He didn't tell me to remove my jewelry. I quickly removed my wedding ring and earrings then placed it in my purse. I asked Roman Pak if I could bring my purse with me since I didn't feel comfortable leaving my purse unattended. Roman didn't tell me that I could lock up the locker. Roman asked if I've ever had an MRI and I told him I had not. Then, he finally answered my question and said I could not take my purse with me. I placed my purse inside the locker, when I closed the locker, I saw the key hanging on the locker door. I told Roman that I didn't realize that the locker had a key and I told him that I wouldn't have said that I was uncomfortable with leaving my purse unintended if he had explained that there was a key to lock the locker door and bring the key with me. Roman Pak, responded to me with attitude by saying, "You didn't ask me if the locker had a key." Then he said it's okay. I said it wasn't okay that he was rude to me. He responded by saying I was late but cancelling my MRI for being rude to him. I said I wasn't late or rude to him. Then he tells the front desk that I'm late and he is cancelling me. Front desk told him I was not late. If I'm late, why did he take me to MRI? I reported Roman to Andy, the CEO for the 13 doctor office, OrthoNorCal, who said he would need Roman's side of story? How will that work when Roman lied?

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
