List of Gurpreet Sarao's Reviews
Worst doctor ever. She’s very rude and threatens her patients and doesn’t help at all with any medical questions. My experience seems to be consistent with other Trevor’s on this site. I wish I read all the reviews about her in all the websites not just sutter health website before going to her. Never go to her! Save yourself and your family
Worst doctor ever. She never provided any proper treatment and instead she threatened us and when we asked her questions she said May be we need to find a different doctor. Save yourself and your family! Never go to this doctor
Dr. Sarao goes over your family health history and your history. She orders all necessary tests and talked about nutrition, healthy habits and the ways how to improve you health in general. Also I received a great treatment plan for my health issues from Dr. Sarao. I am grateful to have a doctor who is really involved in her work.
She raced through my appointment, was super pushy, didnt listen at all to my concerns, when I messaged her to follow up she said, "I think you should change your primary care physician. We do not have a healthy therapeutic relationship and I would prefer you see someone else for your concerns". All I said was that "I take my health seriously and I need her to do the same". So, I guess she's saying she just doesnt take her patients health care seriously. This lady just goes through the motions and doesnt really care about you. Im sure if pressed she would say something like "I'm just doing my job". She's not the worst Dr. I've had, she at least perscribed what I told her to without much debate.
My whole family sees Dr Sarao. She is very knowledgeable and always thorough. There are times it is hard to get an appointment with her but she is very good about responding to emails. She's with PAMF so has to abide by the HMO guidelines and that's not something she has control over so it doesn't make sense for people on here to complain about that.
Such a nice woman. I met with her once in 2/2017 to establish new doctor after moving to Silicon Valley. When I had urgent need to see her 6 months later, I was told would be a wait of 7 weeks! I saw her P.A. - very impersonal, rushy. ...then I had horrible ear problem a month later. I was sent to her coworker. Worst yet- A by a month later- My ear problem worsened, I called her office 3x in two days. I Told them office I was losing hearing AND now had ringing in my ear. This doctor said she would not do urgent referral to ENT- could be wax. This woman, had she looked in my chart/history- would see I had just been to ENT 4 weeks earlier and had wax removed. Now I am losing hearing ( serious) and have constant ringing in ear, which had loss hearing in long past. I needed the word URGENT on a referral to ENT. Otherwise, you wait and wait weeks. What a system. So incompetent- uncaring- misinformed, because they probably have way too many patients.I said - " to Hell with all of you "And went to Acupuncture. It goes without saying....Am switching Dr.'s What a sad disappointment. Silicon Valley (Los Gatos) PAMF- ya done bad this time!
Wonderful caring doctor, good listener, takes her time, asks questions. If you want a smart doctor, you won't go wrong choosing Dr. Sarao as your family MD..
I don't know if its the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, or simply this MD, but I have multiple, some untreatable, all incurable ailments - from chronic back pain due to ruptured/bulging discs, to Hashimoto's thyroid disease and fibromyalga. The best anyone can do is help manage the symptoms. This MD wanted to send me to 5 different specialists. I simply can't afford to be seeing all of the people. And if this is Palo Alto Medical Foundation's way of supporting itself, how disappointing! Because I couldn't afford her treatment plan, she said we weren't a good fit, and she didn't want to treat me. What, exactly, would her purpose be if she can't treat anything I have?
The last few years I have needed to see many doctors. While most doctors were adequate, I needed better care. I found the best care from Dr. Sarao. She is not only diligent in getting you healthier but also investigates your health performance long term to help you have a better life. She also worked with me to improve my health through improved lifestyle.
this doctor was on-call for my doctor recently. I usually do not call a doctor after hours, but after a situation with my son, my blood pressure went extremely high 166/112 even with medication. It was only 6 pm in the evening and she came to the phone and was very sarcastic and nasty, i wouldn't go to her if she was the last doctor in san jose.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
