They do it all. And they do it right. I'm beyond impressed with everyone I've met. I've got my share of neck and back pain. I really need help and I feel like they are giving that to me. I'm in physical therapy now which is top notch. The staff is energetic and upbeat. They are supportive and compassionate. My life is changing as I learn tips and tricks, just learning to give myself the time I need. Take . **This is a booming and thriving practice, all with good reason. From the first check-in, to the medical staff, to the way they prep the doctor (like he knows you before he even walks in) to the people doing X-Rays and MRI's, it's all good. A-Z services done right. Every time. Each visit the experience gets better. Most recently I had the steroid epidural - it's scary out there and I build up trust over time, but using the experiences I'd had, I found comfort I was in the right hands. This is my 3rd in life but the first here and it is proving to be a success. They know how to hire right- they have formed strong partnerships in the medical field leading to excellence in care for their patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Coe since 2019, but at the time I didn’t have good health insurance, when I was able to change insurance, I immediately called his office to start the process of having my much need back surgery. He’s smart, explains everything well, best surgeon I’ve ever had!

My chiropractor recommended you after I'd been suffering from chronic sciatic pain, shooting electric debilitating pain for three months. When we met to discuss my Xray, you identified multiple irregularities and zeroed in on the real problem educating me on my condition and options. Since the appropriate surgery was a complicated procedure Xlif or Alif, you cautiously guided me to consider therapies first to see if we could alleviate the problem without surgery. The diagnosis was Spondylolisthesis, caused by degeneration. OrthoNorCal provided a complete suite of options, drug therapies, PT, epidurals, follow up appointments. After months of getting some relief but unable to return to the physical activities I loved, I called Dr. Coe and asked for another surgery consultation.He spent as much time as I needed discussing exactly what the surgery would entail and the outcome I could expect. As always he was most concerned that I was making the right decision for me, giving me the medical information in terms I could understand so that I made the decision. Once I decided, his pre-surgery protocol was thorough making sure I understood every decision I was making. I was terrified of back surgery.My surgery was a big success. Dr. Coe gave me a reassuring nod when our eyes met in the operating room before I was put under. He met my husband in the waiting room with his report and then visited my bedside as soon as I recovered from the anesthesia to show me the operating room photos of my spine. Check-out day, he personally came to my bedside to process the release and sat with me and my family taking his time with us answering all our questions.After surgery OrthoNorCal has a specific protocol to ensure 100% recovery. Their PT, both aquatic and standard resources are excellent. Dr. Coe carefully weaned me off of the pain medications as quickly as I could do so. I have no back pain and now I'm getting my old active life back thanks to Dr. Coe. Dr. Coe is one of those special surgeons who've seen just about every condition, keeps his medical know-how current, and prides himself on his surgical skills, he's a real technician and aims for perfection.

Thanks to Dr Coe I am pain free, after 3 bad years of chronic leg pain Dr. Coe was able to fix my back and return me to a normal life. My previous doctors had me headed in the wrong direction with pills, etc. I’m so grateful to him and his staff at Golden Gate Orthopedic & Spine for everything they’ve done to help me. If I could give him 10 stars I certainly would. If you’re having leg or back pain and are looking for a doctor I highly recommend you contact his office. From X-rays to MRI’s to the front desk staff everyone there was polite professional and caring.

Dr Coe, Melissa, Derek and other OrthNorcal staff are absolutely wonderful, caring and extremely supportive. Had my surgery this morning and I can't wait to be pain free and off meds.

This is a most impressive practice, from the services offered on-site, such as X-rays, which can be done "on the spot," if warranted, to the people who make the place "tick." Dr. Coe is a consummate professional, as as Melissa, the PA who originally helped me. So is Miles, the very capable and welcoming MA for this team. They are all patient, empathetic and knowledgeable, providing the very best in customer service. I feel I can trust them in making decisions for my care, as they answer all questions in detail.

Coe is a stud! He will guide you to the truth of your condition. Like it or not... -2018 Dr. Coe just completed an S1through L3 fusion (following an L4-L5 fusion 3 years ago). While my years of athletic compression injuries & general disc deterioration has progressed (I am now 66), Dr. Coe keeps putting Humpty Dumpty back together again. I am now free of all pre-op pain and when fully healed will be able to return to an active sports life of swimming, backpacking and elliptical cardio without limitations. Dr. Coe will guide you to your best outcome with expertise and experience held by very few in his field. ...and his PA Mellissa is equally amazing in her surgical support role! A great team. -2021
