Gallbladder surgery, no problems one week slow, now back to normal life, thank you!!!

I don't have a lot of experience with Doctors, but my limited experience with Dr. Gutman warrants a review.About a week ago, I notice some discomfort in one of my man parts, and after inspecting the area for days, I noticed a very small lump toward the top back of my testis (TMI I know). I spent the next few days unfortunately reading hours of information on Google and Reddit, along with hours of video on YouTube. My anxiety was so high, as I was convinced I had testicular cancer at 38 years old. I was able to make a quick appointment with Dr. Gutman after waiting only 2 days.I brought my wife with me, he sat us down, and asked me to tell him my concerns. After doing so, he performed the exam and within a minute, reassured me that what I had was a completely harmless cyst called a Spermatocele. I asked him to please check one more time because I wanted to be convinced. He knew how nervous I was, so he again thoroughly checked the area. When he told me there was nothing to worry about, he noticed that I had kid cash for the visit. Dr. Gutman proceeded to shake my hand and told his office staff to refund my exam fee. I was almost in tears with having the good news along with his selfless gesture.Great guy and I really appreciate him.

Terrible experience. Visited him for removing shoulder lipoma. Scheduled a surgery at Forest surgery center. The surgery was not successful. The fatty mass was not diagnosed properly and I was told the fatty mass could not be removed. He did not even wait to see me after the surgery. When I woke up , He was not there and got to know the post medications from my attendant. After a month , I got a mail stating they lost all my medical records. Update 5/10/2022. Finally got it removed from India.

In short, I am a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Gutman and I would not recommend him, nor will I ever use Doctor Jeffrey Gutman again for anything. Double Inguinal Hernia repair surgery performed did not go well at all. In fact, only a few years later and guess what, Hernias are back. Dr. Gutman spent only about 10 minutes doing the entire surgery and beat me up with little care of outcome in the process. I suffered fairly extensive internal bleeding and a great deal of unexpected pain and swelling after surgery. This guy is a hack and caused me permanent internal damage. Do yourself an extreme favor, do not let him touch you.

Both my husband and I have seen Dr. Gutman and he has exceeded our expectations. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Gutman removed my gallbladder about 8 months ago, and I almost died during supposedly short and simple procedure. Dr. Gutman performed minimally invasive surgery, and at some point cut the blood vessel causing the blood spilling everywhere covering camera inside my abdomen. Without being able to see what he was doing/cutting he shredded my main bile duct spilling the bile into abdomen, and then finally he called for help. The surgery lasted over 4 hrs. and I spent 17 days at ICU. He did not disclose to me anything what actually happened, and till to day I have liver problems because he lacerated it in 7 places, and I completely lost one of the blood arteries supplying blood to the liver. All of this was hidden from me, and I discovered all the damage he did after consulting another specialist. Avoid this "doctor" and run away, if you want to live. Luckily for me other doctors saved my life, and will always be grateful for that, especially dr. Roozrokh.

It has been awhile since I was his patient, but I have always told everyone how great he was when I was under his care. Amazing doctor!

DR. Gutman is very compassionate. I wish I could give him more than a five star review. You will feel heard and understood which was such a comfort to me.

He is the best.
