List of Jesse Yurgelon's Reviews
I had a great medical experience with Doctor Yurgelon, yesterday. I was hardly capable to walk before getting in his office due to a very painful ingrown nail. I a few minutes he removed a sharp piece of nail without filling the procedure. My pain went away, instantly. This was a great filling coming out from a doctor office.Five stars from me for doctor Yurgelon not only for the procedure but also for his manners and how he treats the patients. Thank you Doctor Yurgelon.Dana S.
Very knowledgeable and kind, explains all the options well.
I love Dr Yurgelon. I have flat feet and a number of conditions that have developed as a result so I've seen him several times over the past years. He's always kind, listens and takes the time to explain things. He reassured me today about my current issue and gave me a steroid shot to help with the pain of my plantar fasciitis. I always feel better after seeing him.
Dr. Yurgelon shows compassion and truly listens. He is knowledgeable and explains things in an easy to understand manner.
Dr. Yurgelon is a young, motivated, caring DPM. He responds to emails within hours, shows real interest in you and your individual case, and has great bedside manners. He recommended surgery for my right foot (not done yet), explained the possible outcomes, and kept me informed at all times. Dr. Yurgelon is more than I learned to ever expect from a doctor. He brings fresh air into an industry that long forgot the love for the practice. Never rushed, always on time, and always responsive. 5 stars from me.
Excellent doctor. Capable, friendly, explains everything.
I had seen two other podiatrists (one Stanford Medical and one at PAMF) about my ankle problem and even though I wanted surgery, I had been forced to try many conservative forms of treatment, such as ice, ankle brace, Physical Therapy, and EPAT (extracorporeal pulse activation therapy), for the past three months, with no relief. Finally Stanford relented and agreed that I could see their orthopedist for a surgery consult, but when I tried to schedule the appointment, she couldn't see me for another two months. Since I had a hiking trip in three months, I couldn't wait that long. I scheduled a first appointment with Dr. Yurgelon and there he said that he could perform surgery to remove a bone spur and also inject something to stop fluid from leaking into my ankle joint. I asked how soon could he perform the surgery and he told me that he had just received a cancellation for the following Friday (4 days hence) and would I be interested in that. I said yes and the surgery went very well. He removed a 1 inch long bone spur but I still had minimal swelling post-surgery. My ankle was nearly completely healed 2.5 months later when I went on the big hiking trip. I also like Dr. Yurgelon's bedside manner. He is polite and listens when I have questions.
Dr. Yurgelon is a class act. Professional, courteous, and caring. He is always on time, explains your options and procedures thoroughly, and never rushes you out. Really everything you'd expect in a doctor and then some.

Great "bedside manner" in that you feel comfortable in talking with him. I had a broken 5th M from an accident and he explained the break, possible scenarios to fix it, the complications and procedure, and his success rate/experience. His personality is easy going/confident but not business like. Very easy to communicate with i.e., someone you would enjoy meeting outside of the office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
