Manjula Jeyapalan-Noone's Online Review Report Card

Recently had a cyst removed by Dr. Noone. Then spent 3 months meeting her at the wound clinic for after care. The procedure went well she explains everything so clearly , giving me all the options and kept me well informed on after care. She is very caring and kind. Never makes you feel rushed. I had some issues after hours with the wound and both times she called me right away. She was so attentive and helpful and at one point stopped what she was doing and met me back at the wound clinic within minutes. This is my second procedure with her and as much as I hope it’s my last, feel at ease know I have a surgeon I can trust on speed dial.

She is a good doctor but her customer service is very poor.

They told me they took blue shield of California PPO Off exchange Silver. After seeing her I received an explanation from Blue shield stating that they aren't contracted with Blue Shield. Their office called me and said the policy I have and others like mine (gold and bronze) aren't really PPOs. They then threatened to turn me over to their collection agency if I didn't pay the whole bill of $270. Call your insurance company before seeing this doctor. They really don't have a clue what insurance they will take or won't take.

Disabled with MS on SSDI. Explained my circumstances to her business office and the Dr proceed to go after my credit and didn’t accept what Medicare paid. The only Dr to do this since I have been disabled. I was raised and educated here in the Bay Area and it’s hard being disabled let alone have this happen to you

In 2005 I was rushed to the Good Samaritan hospital with an intestinal bleed. The emergency doctor was Dr. Noone. He contacted Dr’s Jeyapalan and Dr. Devilla for consultation. The diagnosis was diverticulosis throughout my entire large intestine. The Doctors recommendation was the complete removal of the large intestine. Dr. Jeyapalan performed the surgery. My small intestine had approximately 30 centimeters of tics that were not bleeding, and have only bled once in the almost fourteen years since the surgery. What a great surgeon she is very skilled and consults with others to assure that the best treatment is given. An aside, Dr’s Jeyapalan ,and Noone met over my bleeding body and from there went on to be married. At our last meeting she told me that they would always remember me for bringing them together. I hope that they are still happily married and they are as happy as my wife of 60+ years and I are. I am now 79 years old and am leading an active life thanks to Dr. Jeyapalan. Marlin Right

I underwent emergency surgery in Good Samaritan Hospital for my small bowel which was obstructed in a potentially life threatening situation in the spring of 2016 . Dr. Noone conducted the emergency surgery and did an outstanding job. She displayed skill, wisdom, and compassion during and after my surgery. I was restored to complete health. I would give her six stars if I could!

Great experience- knowledgeable and great bedside manner. Surgery performed successfully with minimal discomfort- highly recommend!

She is very nice, professional and easy to talk to. She explained our options well. Feel she was very thorough in surgery at post op. Will choose her again without hesitation and happy she was our surgeon for this unexpected event.
