Had a minor procedure at the end of May and everything went quite well, and I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff doctor Zare is straight and to the point and his team and the receptionists do an exceptional job -very nice staff

I think I've already reviewed this doctor but I am happy to do it again. After having gastric bypass with a band placed above my stomach by some idiot in AZ Dr Zaré was the only doctor (I saw many!) that was willing to touch me. He fearlessly went in and located the band and cut it out. It doesn't sound like much but the body creates scar tissue which made it a difficult surgery. I don't throw up now every time I eat and my stomach doesn't hurt all the time. I really owe this doctor so much for drastically increasing the quality of my life. It's been a few years but I think of him often.

I have seen Dr. Zare for the past five years, for some hernia issues and he had performed a successful surgery later on, I had some concerns about the mesh that he had used. He was so confident and explained and directed me to a specialist to treat my kind of problem. Dr. Zare is a very decent surgeon, who provides knowledge, explanation, and a troubleshooting plan. He reflects a deep concern for the overall health of the patient and gives valuable advice. He goes far and beyond his surgical capability to help his patients, just like a primary care doctor. You are awesome, Dr. Marc. His office is very clean, well-organized, and inviting. His staff is courteous, helpful, and prompt to help by all means. I am always highly impressed and I would give Dr. Zare a 10-star rating, 5 is too less. He has a sharp penetrating focus to achieve success. My husband and I went to see Dr. Zare last week for an upcoming surgery, and we found that Dr. Zare was very nice, very patient, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Zare answered all of our questions and he was also able to assure us of the upcoming procedure with his impeccable surgical record and his confidence in performing a successful surgery. The surgery scheduler, Megan Silva, was also very helpful and courteous. We would definitely recommend Dr. Zare to anyone who needs related surgical procedures. We are very fortunate to have found Dr. Zare!

I lived with obesity almost all my life, when I decided to get the gastric sleeve, I knew this was going to be life changing but I did not know how much When I got out of the surgery and a few days after, I said to myself I am crazy what did I get myself into. I was constantly hungry and it was painful to eat or drink. However, as the days went by the pain subsided and I began to learn how to manage my new sudden hunger. I was able to drink 4 oz of water and slowly increased my intake. It has only been 4 months since my surgery my health has radically improved I am down 40 lbs. and losing an average of 1 to 2 lbs. per week, my body aches are gone, my chronic cough is gone, inflammation is down, my hormones are regulating, diabetes is under control and I have reduced my insulin substantially. My A1C went for 10 pre-surgery to 6 post surgery, I am rejuvenating, my skin looks excellent, I am looking better in my mid 50's than I did in my teens and 20's. Dr. Zare gave me back my life. When I say he gave me ack my life, I do not mean I have a social life to live but rather he gave me a second chance to live and see my granddaughter grow up and the chance to see other future grandchildren as well. I feel if I would no have done this procedure, I probably would have been dead in a few years. All I needed is for one doctor to listen and believe that I could do my part. It takes a lot of sacrifice, dedication, and discipline to accomplish this. I needed to love myself, invest in myself, and break bad habits. Thank you Dr. Zare, and my family thanks you too, they do not know you but they say you are their Hero!

I was referred to Marc Zare by my primary care doctor for hernia surgery. After contacting Marc, he was very personable and I received complete instructions and had all my questions answered. One week later my surgery was completed! I had zero pain or discomfort afterwards, and was back to normal in a few weeks. His staff was efficient and excellent. I could not recommend him more highly.

Dr Zare did cholecystectomy for me, the whole process is quite pleasant and I had no issue after surgery as well, I recovered in 2 weeks. I am really glad I had Dr Zare done my surgery.

Had my gastric sleeve done by Dr zare on 10th April at el camino hospital in mountain view.i needed no pain medication even tho it was on a push button for me anytime i wanted.i honestly think I had next to no pain because I had best surgeon for the job.thank you and your staff A+ services and quality I'll be recommending them to everyone I know thank you

More than 50 years ago I suffered a right-side inguinal hernia that was repaired using the medical technology of the time. This past year a left-side inguinal hernia appeared, and really limited my mobility, caused digestive problems, and became a difficult problem to manage at my age--78. I looked online for a surgeon to repair the hernia. Dr. Marc Zare's online presence was first-rate. His experience with my kind of problem is very impressive. So, I booked an appointment with him. From the first minute you walk into his office you notice how professional and friendly the reception area staff are. That was just the beginning of what I consider to be superb medical treatment with a perfect outcome. Dr. Zare works with a surgery center for hernia repair. Everyone at the center was competent and friendly. Dr. Zare uses the latest technique for hernia repair. My surgery took place at 7:30 am. By 11:00 I was home. Four hours later I was walking around the house. Two or three days later I could walk a few blocks. Now, exactly one month after the surgery, I am back swimming laps at the SJSU pool and feeling no ill effects from the surgery. Dr. Zare insists on high-quality performance from everyone around him, and they deliver. Cannot recommend him high enough for hernia repair.

dr. zare fixed my hiatal hernia on 2/28/23 and for the last five weeks have not had heartburn or taken antacids for the first time in 45 years. should have done it sooner. best part was that no pain killers were needed even though i love taking them. good work, dr. zare.
