Mary Defigard's Online Review Report Card

I can't find enough words to express my admiration of this wonderful extraordinary doctor. Mary Defigard is the excellent example of a REAL, VERY HIGH PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE DOCTOR. She is a rare person with great heart and dedication to her profession.

Dr. Defigard is awesome. I couldn’t ask for a better a primary care physician.

Dr. DeFigard has been my primary physician for 13 years, and I have never had a better, more compassionate, more thorough doctor. I have several chronic illnesses, and have required hospitalization more times than I can count, but she never makes me feel like I am taking too much of her time or patience. No matter how many hours she has put in on any given day, she always returns phone calls, even if it is during the evening hours. The same is true when I am hospitalized, often coming in to see me late at night when I’m sure she’s exhausted and would rather be home enjoying a late dinner! Although the wait times may be longer than some doctors’ offices, it is well worth the wait because she spends as much time as necessary to answer all questions and concerns, and NEVER watches the clock as though she’s trying to keep your visit under the standard 15-minute visit that so many doctors do.

Dr. DeFigard is amazing! I’m a new patient and she blows all other doctors out of the water. She makes hospital visits at midnight, came into a skilled nursing home in the evening snd staff at the nursing home said doctors from the outside NEVER come in. She calls back after I emailed a complaint after hours, her staff called her to pass my message at how upset I was and she called me at 9pm and spent 30 minutes. She handled my inquiry and picked up where my oncologist dropped the ball. I love her and wish I found her years ago!

She has been my primary care doctor for over 40 years. Not only am I pleased with her but every medical professional I come in contact with respects her.

Dr.DeFigard has been my primary physicians since 1978 with 12 year absence when I moved out of SC Valley. I got to know her when I was an employee of GSH back then and witnessed her care for her patients. When I needed a specialist ,I always am very happy with recommendations. She is so kind and takes her time with each patient. ( because of this I always allow time for running late it’s worth it to me)

I got in yesterday at the last appointment to see Dr Difigard. I'm very pleased at the level of care she gave me. I didn't realise just how sick I was. She is extremely kind and really takes the time to ask questions and listen. I like the fact that she has an assistant to do her transcribing for her .That frees her up to be a doctor. But I need to mention there is a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE LADYwho checks you in. She's in her late fifties with dark and grey hair.She needs to retire as she clearly hates her job.So just beware of her. The rest of the staff are great!

What a refreshing experience I had with a PCP who sat with me and listened to my history. She also had great advice and recommendations for specialists I will need to see in the area. I recently relocated from Southern California and am very happy that I found Dr. deFigard, I highly recommended her or another doctor within this medical practice.

Over 15 years under the care of Dr. Defigard with my whole family and I cannot think of one instance that we did not get her 100% outmost attention and care. Respect her expertise and appreciate the extra special attention.
