Dr. Diep filled in my thinning hairline and the results were night and day. He took care to build back to my natural hairline and it looks very natural overall. The healing process is tough, but I wish I’d done it sooner

I met Dr. John Diep after doing lots of research and was evaluating multiple other clinics at the same time. He gave me lots of confidence from our conversation. He was very patient in explaining the pros and cons of different techniques. I decided to go ahead with his advise (Looking back I am happy I did follow his advise). His team provided all the instruction to prepare for the surgery and I was there in his Los Gatos office early morning. His team asked me to relax and took care of all the initial procedures. It took most part of the day (I was sleeping half the time) and the only painful was sitting idle towards the end as his team was working very carefully. I left the office without any pain with all the medications. The 1st week was little tricky and we made several calls to his office. He has a very experienced team and patiently answered all my queries. The whole vibe in the office is very pleasant. I did have 6 month and yearly check with the Doctor as well. Overall it was a very positive experience. I am very happy with the results and did not expect it to be it this good.

I did not want to consider FUE or any hair surgery unless I found staff and a surgeon that I could be confident would be able to take care of me throughout the whole process and achieve excellent results. As a surgeon myself, I understand there can be risks and especially in aesthetic surgery trying to optimize outcomes, it can be difficult to find the right combination of skill, office staff, location and safety in the care. I was referred by another physician colleague, which is always the best referral in my opinion, and was able to trust that for my type of hair loss, I was going to get the very best options available today. Some of my friends have sought to save money elsewhere and travel, but for me, outcome, trust of the surgeon and staff and safety of the procedure were the highest priority. Dr. Diep and his staff are undoubtedly thorough and caring and very competent in all techniques and most importantly managing concerns that may develop throughout the process. Having someone very skilled relatively local to my area that can follow-up with results was very reassuring as well

Review is Limited to the Consultation - or Lack of it. Here is my experience and reason for the one star review. I scheduled a consultation appointment with Dr. Diep that would take place by Zoom. I received a confirming email that asked me to fill out a form, take various pictures of my head, and then to submit them. So no problem. I leave work for the 4:30 zoom appointment. At 4:30 I receive a call from the receptionist who tells me the doctor is running thirty minutes late and can we reschedule for 5:00. At 5:00 no call, no zoom email. 5:15 rolls around, then 5:30, then 6:00, then 6:30 and then the phone rings at 6:48! The receptionist tells me the doctor is ready for the call! This is after over two hours from our originally scheduled time. I told the receptionist, this is not a delay I could recover from, and I'd search out another doctor. My view is that any organization that is comfortable with THAT first impression, is not one I'm putting much faith in as to professionalism and personalized care. This is the entirety of my experience. Take it for what its worth.

Fast forward 6 years, I am now engaged and getting married soon. I look forward to styling my hair and getting my haircut now! My hair still looks amazing and I have done the necessary routines to maintain it. I use Minoxidil foam every day in the morning, and 2mg of Finasteride every night. This has been so necessary to maintain my hair as I know many people who have gotten a hair transplant and do not use the proper medication afterwards, and their hair thins again. I cannot recommend Dr. Diep enough and his team will take care of you! If you are thinking about doing a hair transplant, THIS IS YOUR SIGN!

I would strongly recommend Dr. Diep and his team to someone considering a hair transplant. They were easy and great to work with and the results from the surgery were amazing!

Dr. Diep has done a phenomenal job! Its been 18 months since my hair transplant and I am completely satisfied with my results!
