List of MIller Dermatology's Reviews
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. He has awful bedside manner. Do not allow your elderly parents to go to him. Although his office paperwork said he was going to charge $15 for me to get a copy of my medical records faxed to my new dermatologist, his office insisted that it was 25 for admin fees. And then he did not transfer my pathology documentation over to my new dermatologist. So not only do I have to navigate skin cancer on my back he did not treat, but I also have to deal with an arrogant dermatologist with fraudulent practices who can’t even forward my medical records accurately with my pathology records. That led to a second biopsy today, which I honestly was happy to do for a more accurate diagnosis. This experience has been awful. And he appears to drag on your treatment into as many visits as he can in order to get the most financial gain he can from your condition. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I had a nickel size pre-cancer spot on my forehead. He told me I needed photo photodynamic therapy. He told me it was a non invasive and pain free procedure. Not only was he NOT there when the procedure was done, he also did not tell me he was going to do my entire forehead or warn me of the possible side effects such as severe blistering, pain, and an open wound like response. When I called the next day in pain, I was told to go to the er as he was not available and the girl I spoke with had no clue how to help. Then he said a week later that the procedure was not covered by my Insurence and that I needed to pay a flat fee. I of course was not going to pay a big fee for a procedure he told me I needed without ensuring that he had gone through my insurance first since he was a provider IN my network. When I called my insurance they said they did not receive a claim and told me not to pay anything until he submitted a claim. He would not provide a bill. My insurance got involved and tried to call his office. The person from his billing department actually hung up on my Insurance. I am still waiting for a bill with a breakdown that justified the amount I was told to pay, although finally a claim was submitted to my insurance.

Very nice staff, attentive. Dr. Miller took his time to explain all of the details.
Horrible experience… I’ll add more details later but I won’t visit this doctor anymore.
Worst dermatology experience of my life Dr Miller is well practiced…at being condescending, ignoring what I have clearly said I’m allergic to, offering outdated skincare recommendations for products that no longer exist, saying “it’s not that bad” when I was distressed over the state of my skin, blaming everything on the menstrual cycle, going off topic, and recommending that I wash my face with Bar Soap….
Dr. Miller is very different (lets leave it like that) but once you get to know him more, he is very good at what he does and he does it with a good heart.
Dr Miller is very knowledgeable, personable, and takes time with his patients. Definitely recommend
I called to make an appointment for a relative and mentioned he has medi-cal but can pay for appointment himself if medi-cal isn’t accepted. The receptionist immediately refused to make an appointment. She said it was policy to not accept patients with medi-cal and refused to schedule anything even after assuring her we could cover the $350 for the consultation.
Dr. Miller has been my dermatologist for over 5 years and has helped clear my acne and takes the time to educate on how to best care for my skin. His office staff are also very friendly and kind.
I would never recommend this physician. Particularly if you are elderly or have even the slightest respect for yourself. Yesterday my 92 year old grandfather went to visit Dr. Miller. He has been a patient of his for 15 years. The doctor called my grandfather a liar, ripped his gown off of him and threw his cane on the ground. This is abhorrent, and blatantly elder abuse. However, the part that was most upsetting to my grandpa, was that Dr. Miller had him remove his face mask and shield when he wasn’t even being seen for an ailment on his face. The doctor was also not wearing his mask. That’s secondhand exposure to all of the other patients he had seen that day. If you want a doctor who will honor their hypocratic oath, find anyone else. Don’t waste your time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
