Philip Ho's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ho specializes in removing wax and skin from my ears. This has improved my hearing and ear aches. Thank you Dr.Ho.

Dr. Ho and his assistant were very flexible and accommodating to my sudden hearing problem. Made an appointment and saw me the same day. Fortunately it was not a serious/long term illness.

My father was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma and we are fortunate to have Dr. Philip Ho as his doctor in the past two years. Dr. Philip Ho is a very experienced ENT doctor and he really cares about his patient. He not only provides the medical supports that we needed, he also guides us through difficult time like this when we were scared and panic. He gives great advices on taking care of patients like my father, he also consults with my father's family doctor and oncologist frequently in order to come up with the best treatment for my father because my father is 70 years old. We really appreciate what Dr. Philip Ho has done for our family and we recommend Dr. Philip Ho.

One star - because zero is not an option. Really bad work ethics. Had to call 3-4 times to get the right forms and got them late night one day before appointment. We called and called and still didn't get the online login until the appointment. We arrived on time and waited more than an hour. I would strongly suggest to avoid this place.

I would advise medical patients seeking ENT care to not make an appointment with Philip T Ho because he is super rude and unprofessional. On my appointment day, I had to bring my baby with me to my appointment, and as usual with babies, my baby cried thinking he its his appointment(my child do not like medical settings at all). His receptionist told me that because my baby is crying, Philip T Ho can not see me today. I came back the following day, without my baby, his receptionist told me that I had to pay the $45 cancellation fee because Philip T Ho could not see me the previous day. I told her that is not fair because Philip T Ho could have seen the other day after I calmed by baby down. Then, Philip T Ho came in the room and told me the following; "You know Anthony, I have been working in the medical field a while now and there is a saying that customers are always right, I do not believe in this saying and customers are not always right, and in this case you are not right, you have to pay the $45 cancellation fee because you cancelled and you took another patients spot. I understand that you left because your baby was crying and it was annoying everyone here at my office." I never heard a doctor say that babies are annoying when they cry. I am not sure what kind of doctor he is but for sure he is not a good nor a patient doctor at all. In reality and truth, Philip T Ho was nowhere to be seen on my initial appointment day because he refused to see me because my baby was with me and my child was crying a little. I hope that future patients understand what kind of ENT medical personnel Philip T Ho is and do not use any of his service in the future. I refuse to call him a doctor in this post or ever, because he do not deserve to be doctor especially the way he handled this situation. BE WISE and AVOID THIS PLACE.

Very rude office worker. They tried to evict my 90 years old father from their office in cold weather, while he had to wait for 10 minutes for the Access to pick him up. I believe before being a good specialist, you should be a good human. The website didn’t let me for 0 star, because even one star is too much for them.

Dr. Ho is a caring and compassionate doctor. He explains in ways it is easily understood. He is unusual in that he would rather read the actual diagnostic test itself and not just what the diagnostic doctor concludes in the report. He is even more detailed than the written report. I consider this to be a cut above an ordinary doctor who goes strictly by the report which may be wrong before. He takes time to map out treatment plans. He can be cautious and recommends more tests than necessary rather than withhold tests like most PPO and HMO doctors do. I consider this to be beneficial to the patient. Because he takes time needed during his examination, there is a tendency to run over your time slot. I have since introduced my friends and family members to him. Our family has been his patients since 2014.

Ordered two hearing tests just to make money for himself. I was sent to him for an entirely unrelated condition as a consult. I did not have a hearing problem but he saw this as an opportunity to profit--two times! Was of no help whatsoever in terms of my actual condition and I found him off-putting in general.
