Dr. Barthel is awesome. He is very caring, patient, compassionate and understanding. we saw him at the clinic. He understand our situation and gave us good solution. He personally walked us to ED and spoke with urologist for the problem my son has. Prior to that i went to emergency department twice in row, nobody was listening to us to treat the problem. I really recommend him. Thank you very much for the help and appreciate the doctor. I will never forget him in my entire life for what he done for my 3 year old son kabir, who was suffering from extreme pain.

Not personable. Does not really look at kid during follow up visit even if parent expressed concern (except for checking the scar from surgery.)

Dr Barthel did a laparoscopic surgery for my 7 month old son’s Morgagni Diaphragmatic Hernia. My son is healing well, so I take that as a sign of a job well done. While Dr Barthel had to be asked a lot of questions in order for us to get information, but he did answer and give us all the info and we felt as though our son was in good hands. I would recommend him to others, with the admonishment of being ready to ask him questions as the information doesn’t readily pour out of him without some prompting/questioning.
