Jamie Lee's Online Review Report Card

I saw the one bad review here and thought that I need to comment, though I rarely write reviews. I had a very good experience with Dr.Lee today. Yes, she did mention the engineering background and I saw it as a plus. I like it when the doctor makes a plan for your issue and outlines the strategy. So far she is the only OBGYN I saw that made a treatment plan and scheduled a follow up. I am used to the doctors dismissing problems that are not life threatening or result in work productivity or fertility loss. Dr Lee promised that she will not let it go and try her best to help me. She seemed very personal and committed to helping me. She is very driven and not a type that will be making you "feel good" by saying a lot of comforting words. She wants you to feel good because she solves your medical issue. I am looking forward to working with her.

Worst experience with a health care provider. I appreciated her relatively systematic approach. I moved here mid-care for something, so had some expectations for the visit. I asked a clarifying question to ensure we were on the same page. She got frustrated and implied that I would need hand holding and explained her philosophy of care (which she suggested includes not responding to messages) and that due to her engineering background she is "not emotional and that's not a good fit for everyone." I said that was fine, but that I felt like she wasn't listening to my concerns. That really upset her and from then on did not let me get a word in. I stopped trying to convey my concern bc it became clear that she didn't really care anyway. She said she kept cutting me off bc we were past our allotted time (I left the clinic 18 mins after my appt start time). 2 stars bc everything was decent until my clarifying Q, so good for those who don't ask Qs. Shocked at how horribly it went.
