Super, The Best...believe me! His bedside manner is compassionate, kind and helpful. His attention to details and listening to the parent and patient is welcoming. He takes his time to make sure we are on the right plan and adjusts as needed with seizure medications. He interaction with the kids are on point.

Dr. Valero did an incredible job treating my daughter's neurological problem. He counseled us in how to prevent her symptoms and no medication was needed. She is doing great!. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs a good neurologist.

The first time I visited, I described what I thought may be a seizure-related issue. He brushed my issues aside by simply saying I was stressed out. Three months later, I was sent to the hospital for my first grand mal seizure. He finally took me seriously, diagnosed me with epilepsy (because he realized my previous issues were seizure-related), and gave me a prescription. While this medication did work for the grand mal seizures, it didn’t help the auras that I had told him about previously (and they were impacting my everyday life). It also caused terrible mood swings and suicidal thoughts. I told him about this, but he kept me on this medication for 2 years simply because my EEG looked better. I understand that reasoning, but he really didn’t listen to me or take my issues seriously. He’s a very nice man and I’m glad others have had good experiences with him, but the more I think about his treatment the more I realize he was not a great doctor for me.

I can't say enough good things about this man. He has personally called me twice about my child's diagnosis. Seriously...what doctor personally calls their patients.
