List of Nassar's Reviews
He is my husband's doctor and I couldn't be more pleased with him. He is kind, patient, listens to all of our questions and answers them completely and honestly. He takes his time and doesn't rush us out. He truly has a heart for his patients and I would recommend him for anyone. My husband and couldn't be happier.
His staff is sooooo rude and unprofessional! To top it off, at one point the doctor had a sign in his office to not yell or be rude to his staff. Well, train them to provide appropriate customer service and be professional. A while back, mom and I went in looking for a new doctor, within 5-10 minutes of interaction with the gal, we walked out saying NEVERMIND! Too bad because I hear he is a good doctor. My husband goes to him. Recently he needed medication and his pharmacy didn't have it. Doctor's staff told my husband to run around or make calls to find a pharmacy that had it and they would call it in. Ummm, he's sick, plus shouldn't that be YOUR job! And, again, rude when we followed up about it. P.S. My mom and I did find a great doctor who has a great staff of gals!!
Dr. Nassar is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He is kind, caring, and has a very wonderful and professional bedside manner. He explains all concerns and information pleasantly, and though I don't see him often, I look forward to seeing him when I do. I fully trust his professional diagnosis' and follow his recommendations. I am blessed to have him as my care provider. I have been a patient of Dr. Nassar for over 7 years, and couldn't be more pleased.
Dr. Allan Nassar is the prime example of what a good Doctor should be. Nowadays, it almost seems like every doctor you see is playing solitary in their head while you're trying to explain what's physically wrong with you. Dr. Nassar on the other hand will listen to your concerns and ask profound questions to figure out the root cause of your illness. He will examine you thoroughly and learn as much as he can about you and your family history. I have never met a more thorough, dedicated, and humble doctor than Dr. Nassar. If you're looking for a prescription drug dealer, Dr Nassar is not for you, but if you're looking for someone who actually cares about his patients, look no further. I recommend Dr. Nassar to anyone who I care about.
So sad that such a great doctor can lose you over his staff. Very unfriendly, hard to talk to someone when you call, rude, and to top it all off after explaining my situation to the doctor he look right at me and said "So why do you keep coming back?" to which I replied "you're a great doctor". Broke my heart, just can not find people in this world today that truly care for their patients.
Dr. Nassar is the best doctor I have ever seen. Working at a hospital where Dr. Nassar used to practice, I had the opportunity to experience the way he treated all of his patients and staff members. He has the best bedside manners, he listens to your concerns, is respectful, smart, and professional. He cares about every patient and provides excellent care. I referred him to my husband, he was impressed by the care he received. I will always recommend Dr. Nassar for his exceptional care and dedication. Thank you!
I called to set an appointment when my insurance company assigned him to me. Over 60 miles round trip. They would not mail or fax new patient form. 2 hours, 5 gallons of gas later to drive there only to be told they don't take my insurance

When i first met my husband 4 years ago he was being seen by Dr. Nassar through his parent's insurance. Dr. Nassar was extremely nice and helpful and my husband loved him. My in laws are still seen by him and love him.My husband recently got a new job, the same job his father has actually so we KNOW the insurance covers Dr. Nassar's office. I called about 2 weeks ago and asked how to become a new patient. I was told I needed to come in and pick up new patient paperwork to fill out. (NOTE: At this time - I was NOT told that they aren't accepting new patients.) So I made a special trip to his office (I don't live in Madera) to pick up this paperwork. When getting the paperwork I was told they won't be accepting patients until July or August. BUT they WERE accepting patients. I turned back in my paperwork the next day and they said I will be contacted around the end of July or August to make an appointment once they are accepting new patients. Now two days later I get a phone call from his staff stating that "Dr. Nassar went over the new patients paperwork last night and didn't approve you or your husband." I asked Why? She couldn't tell me. She said it's the doctor's decision. At this point I feel it is discriminating for him to just look at our paperwork and decide he doesn't want to treat us. They cannot provide me with a reason, and even though their rudeness made me extremely furious, I was biting my tongue and genuinely just trying to get an answer: WHY? I asked the woman on the phone if I could speak to her supervisor or someone above her. The woman who then came on the phone I was SHOCKED by her lack of professionalism. She literally REFUSED to let me give my side of the story. Her reasoning was that they are accepting NO new patients, but if that were the case why didn't they tell me the 2 other opportunities they had to tell me? She continued to cut me off and ended up hanging up on me. As someone who struggles with Anxiety and Depression, and who is also in early stages of recovery, I am so shocked that someone like that is allowed to talk to patients. Her reactions were not okay and the staff completely emotionally defeated me today. I bit my tongue the whole time and tried to calmly explain my feelings, but again she would not let me. She had no reason to hang up, I really just feel discriminated against because of my mental health issues. I feel they looked at my paper and turned me away for that reason. I hope the staff never makes anyone feel this way again, because I feel awful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
