Me and my son were transported here from Kaweah Delta and had to wait from 8pm-1am to find out we have to stay till morning and have to stay in the same room they put us in when we got here where everyone else has to come in, I’m stuck sitting in a chair till morning…no pillows, the nurses aren’t very nice…I thought this was supposed to be a good hospital…I would have been treated better at kaweah delta!
3 time that I wait over 8 hrs in the ER and they don't even do there job right wast of time and wast of funds on a hospital that can't keep up

Laboratory- Vanessa was amazing and very careful when she drew blood from my 4 month old son! Thank you Vanessa!
When you take your special needs child for surgery and provide an actual George pass, called to clarify the pass, and shown that it has been submitted…I suggest you guys listen. None of my child’s needs were met and my child’s psychologist provided that info. All I was told was well unfortunately someone beat you guys in surgery time and then my child has now nightmares. The head nurse didn’t care at all. My son has proof he can’t be near random men and hearing my son scream in true fear and walking into the recovery room being constricted by men is definitely the most frighting scene I have scene. I suggest not taking as surgery dept can’t even read their own passes and things to help children.
Horrible first experience!!! My daughter had a 104.6°F fever that subsided by the time they saw her because of the lengthy waiting period. The doctor who was assigned to us, Edwin Morgan PA-C, was unbelievably rude from the moment he introduced himself to us. He seemed to be extremely annoyed because her fever had gone away and questioned if she even had a fever to begin with, then proceeded to lecture me about when I should and shouldn't bring my daughter to the ER. It felt more like an integration rather than an emergency visit. He went as far as saying I contradicted myself several times on the after visit summary discharge paperwork even after I answered his questions politely and with the truth. I told him I brought her to the ER because she had a fever of 104.6°F that was not going down after I gave her Ibuprofen THAT morning and it was a concern since she had been experiencing fevers ranging between 99.9°F-103.2°F for the last 2 days prior to our ER visit because of COVID. Mr. Edwin Morgan, on the other hand, reported that I said she had a fever of 103°F for the last 3 days and that I had lied about it never going down with Tylenol. Why on earth would a parent rush their child to the ER at midnight, wait 3+ hours to be seen so they could lie about a dangerously high fever?! That doesn't make sense. I can't believe a doctor would behave in such a like manner, and out of all places, a children's hospital. He was VERY unprofessional, judgmental, rude, dismissive, condescending, insensitive, arrogant, displayed poor listening skills, and was dishonest. It's disheartening when you are attended by a health professional who instead of helping their patients chooses to use their power and position to intimidate, humiliate, and bully them simply because they are impatient, irritable, and lack the professionalism their job requires. The medical gaslighting and false statements used by Mr. Morgan, were both unessarry and unacceptable. Also, I had to ask the nurses to do something about the television in the waiting room because they had it on a channel that had inappropriate content despite the waiting room being full of underage children. There was constant swearing, sexual references/language, and substance abuse. I don't regret taking my daughter in because it's better to be safe than sorry, but I can honestly say it was a very unpleasant visit and I will be taking her to be seen somewhere else in the future.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
