Always has the time for me. Even if I wait she never rushes me and cares.

Regardless of when your appointment is scheduled, the wait time is always around 2-3 hours. Staff will say "oh that's just Dr. Bateman and how she schedules." It is normalized that it is okay for a patient to wait 3 hours during a work day to see a doctor. Then once you see her, don't expect compassion, empathy, warmth, or timely communication. I never knew what Medical Gaslighting was until I met Dr. Bateman. Save yourself the time and the trauma you will have after working with her. I have several doctors at UCLA who are wonderful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Unfortunately, Dr. Bateman makes UCLA look awful, however the real victims are her patients.

She appears to have no interest in your care and just refers you out to providers that aren’t needed. Waiting 2 hours is ridiculous when she can’t even give you answers or care enough to ask questions

One of the only downsides to my new workplace, has been the new health insurance it comes with. This office is comfortable and serene. The staff are sweet. Dr. Ashley Bateman is both professional and personable. I will miss her attentive care.

Dr. Bateman is very impersonal about her care and does not follow up on things that need attention. She does not provide the care I would hope for from a Primary Doctor. Last visit I had she did not mention anything about her pregnancy and the time she would be taking off and who would be taking care of me.

This office is very busy and can run slow. But Dr Bateman Makes me feel heard and takes great care of all my concerns. highly recommend. Always has time for me It you want a doctor to spend only 2 minutes with you she is not your doctor.

Dr. Bateman is friendly, thorough, and follows through on making referrals without delay. She puts lab results, referral notices, and all pertinent information onto the patient portal in a very timely manner.
