Let me start by saying that everyone’s fertility journey is unique. When you choose this path, you’re exposing the most vulnerable part of yourself to a stranger—a doctor you found through an internet search or through word of mouth. It’s an overwhelming and intimidating place to begin. Then I found Dr. B. Not only did I feel like I hit the jackpot, but I also gained a team that truly became part of this vulnerable journey. I began my journey with Dr. B in 2022 after multiple miscarriages and at an advanced maternal age (39 at the time). From day one, Dr. B and his team were there for every step. At every appointment, he was present, patient, and answered every question and concern I had. There were definitely a few scary moments along the way, but each time Dr. B calmly assessed the situation and gave me a clear path forward. I’ll never forget the time I had spotting after an embryo transfer—I was terrified and losing hope. After I left an emergency voicemail, Dr. B personally called me on a Sunday to talk me through what to do. On another occasion, I had messed up a medication dose, and he reassured me and told me exactly how to proceed. Moments like these made me feel incredibly lucky that this was the first IVF clinic I chose. The results: two egg retrievals, two healthy embryos, a healthy baby girl in 2023, and a healthy baby boy in 2025. And I want to add this: even if my IVF outcomes hadn’t been successful, I would still deeply value the care, compassion, and experience I received here.

Innovative Fertility continues to be wonderful! We now have two beautiful children thanks to Dr. Berger and his team. Our second experience was just as great as our first.

Dr Berger, Kate, and everyone at innovative fertility are nothing short of phenomenal. They considered my infertility history and all of my tests and almost immediately diagnosed my ashermans syndrome. Dr Berger performed the surgical removal of my adhesions, helped me keep a careful post op protocol and I am currently expecting. After trying 3 different fertility clinics, I finally found Dr. B. My case was not a straight forward one but we worked together to figure out how to get my rainbow baby. We are so blessed to have been able to start a family with the help of innovative fertility clinic. I love that Dr. B was the one who did all of the ultrasounds and met with me after each one to go over clear next steps. I always had a million questions but they were always answered. We will certainly be back if we decide to have a second child.

My overall experience with the office staff and Dr. Berger was less than positive. His assistant, who handled most of the communication, attempted to answer my questions, but her responses lacked medical precision and professionalism. She employed peer pressure tactics multiple times to push me into making decisions, which ultimately led me to block her number. My interaction with Dr. Berger was limited and brief; he recommended a genetic test by Natera and mentioned that it might not be covered by insurance. However, I later discovered that very few insurance plans cover such broad genetic tests, resulting in a $350 bill for me. Upon researching Natera online, I realized that they, along with some fertility clinics, often use fear tactics to benefit financially. Overall, I found a more caring and professional clinic than Innovative Fertility.

We cannot thank Innovative Fertility enough! They helped give us our miracle baby and we will forever be grateful for the amazing team that supported us on our journey. Dr Berger helped answered all our questions, was empathetic towards our feelings, made us laugh during hard times, and ultimately helped us get our sweet baby girl. Kate was incredible and always there to support our many many questions and teach us everything we needed to know about the process. The rest of the staff was kind, friendly and supportive. We couldn't be more impressed with everyone who helped us! The team at Innovative Fertility were always so kind and welcoming. I had been to other clinics prior, and what I appreciated most here was the intimate and family-like atmosphere. I never felt like a number, they all knew my name, and it made a stressful and emotional experience so much more positive. Dr. Berger had great bedside manner and always took the time to explain our options, alleviate my concerns, and make appropriate tweaks throughout our journey.
