Dr. Mealer is by far the best Ortho doctor ever!!!!! Not only does he care for me but he has helped my daughter who is a softball player to get back on track from a injury. Thumbs way up!!!

Dr. Mealer has been treating my patients for 25 years. I appreciate that his Manhattan Beach office is open on Saturday morning. That is very convenient for the kids to participate in sports and get injured. I also like his Torrence office. He is an excellent orthopedic surgeon.

My husband and I have gone to Dr. Mealer and his associates for ten plus years. We could not be more happy with our care. Dr. Mealer has diagnosed, treated, and performed surgeries for the both of us. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. I feel extremely fortunate to have this MD in our plan. All of our needs are taken care of in his MB and Torrance offices: MRI, PT, Chiro, Acupuncture, and ect.

Dr. Mealer is one of the finest examples of how a Dr should treat patients. He listens closely when I am explaining what my problems are. He takes the time to have me do physical movements before he assumes he knows what my problems are. He only orders some kind of specialty test like an MRI or XRAY or recommends seeing another Dr. for another opinion. Dr. Mealer is interested in solving my problem. He has performed a rt. and a lft rotator cuff repairs with excellent results.

Dr. Mealer is one of the best orthopedic doctor in the South Bay area. His specialty is shoulder and knee. So when I saw him for my hip problems and he saw that I had a severe arthritic hip he recommended me to another orthopedic doctor who specializes in hip replacement. Now thats a sign of a good doctor when he knows what he can or cant do. I highly recommend Dr. Mealer for any of your orthopedic needs and if he cant do it he will definitely refer you to someone else.

Being a huge powerlifter, and by huge I mean in the 400 pound range, not many orthos like to see me pop in their office. Dr. Mealer treated me with respect, and spent the time to talk to me. Sometimes to the extent where the nurses would come wrap on the door LOL. But 4 shoulder surgeries later, I would go to him for any type of surgery I needed. The reason for 4 were my fault. When you start bench pressing over 600 pounds and it goes wrong, your shoulders are the first to show it. After the last one he teased that if I ruined his good work one more time he would sew them both together LOL. Dr. Mealer is the most caring, and knowledgable Dr. I know of, and trust me, I have seen a bunch.Mike
