Starting this review with Dr. Galang is great, she’s been my doctor for years. However, her support staff is unhelpful, and quite frankly incompetent considering they are responsible for handling patient records, and responding to insurances. For a YEAR they have yet to provide necessary records, retorting they have not received a request when both Quest diagnostics AND my insurance have requested them many times- with proof and notation of this. So I am STILL trying to process a claim for over a year ago, that never got handled and still has yet to be.When one person cannot figure it out they send you to another to repeat yourself, and they repeat themselves. Faxing records is not difficult, they ignore requests, and even in given the fax number to my insurance they still have yet to send them. Dr. Galang is very sweet but unless you want unresponsive assistance please be ware or this.To update- upon receiving email confirmation from my insurance they finally obtained the records- their efforts lasted a full year and 3 months with weekly-or more frequent contact. All of which is documented. They were frequently told “we do not have time to wait on the phone” to ensure the request was received, and not discarded from their fax as they ONLY fax records. They do not email. This time has been trying, and damaging to my personal credit history. I had sent messages through my patient portal, in which was never responded to which resorted to a few frustration based phone calls, as these women seem to just not want to do their jobs. LUCKILY my insurance was persistent. And after a year of this office place blaming, the matter has been resolved.

They will not respond immediately to any messages or refill prescriptions immediately when calling. As someone who has asthma and needs to have refills periodically, this office has more than enough people to respond yet they fail to do so. They do NOT care for their patients and do NOT want to help.

Horrible customer service! Requested my lab and other orders. They told me to pick it up? They are not even open for business because of COVID. I asked for it to be mailed. They said they will ask the doctor! They do not do emails! The office staff are not skilled to meet the patients' request. And they think I was rude. It was a simple request to mail for the service i paid for with no discounted insurance fee. As for the Dr. I informed her I will be shopping around for Laboratory services. Since, i technically do not have any insurance to use. She sends it to the laboratory and xray lab anyway! I let 2 weeks pass and no call from them. Called Galang's office, staff does not have a clue how to read the orders. STAY AWAY! Very incompetent staff! Not trained at all! Dr seems to be over whelmed with doing EVERYTHING HERSELF!

I can always get through to make an appt. I've had very good appts with Dr Galang. She takes all the time I need and listens to all my concerns. She responds accordingly. She sends me to specialists when necessary.

They often dont answer the phone and then tell you it was broke.it takes usually two weeks to get refills called in.the pharmacy will call and call, fax with no response.they have no answering service or message system so when you try to cancel, you cant get through because they dont answer and they take a two hour lunch.im changing doctors

Dr. Galang is a great doctor but the front desk is horrible. They almost never answer the phone or return calls. I asked once what do I have to do to make an appointment and they said I should drive there to talk to them instead of calling.

They take too long to see a patient. Apot was at 3:45 and it was 4:48 and have not seen the doctor. Always in a hurry. Going to take my business some where else.

Staff is dismissive and does not listen. Have to call repeated for follow up or you just have to show up. Staff forgets to send prescription requests and lab work requests. It is like pulling teeth to get a straight answer from anyone. You get a different answer from each person you speak with in the office.

Never answer phone, so went in person to book an appointment. Asked front person directly "Do you take Medi-Cal," they said "Yes, we take Medi-Cal." Waited the weekend for my appointment only to come in and have them tell me "Oh we can't accept your insurance. We don't take Medi-Cal."In the time I waited, my condition progressed, I'm in significant pain and now have to find another doctor to see me. Absolutely disgusting business practices here which have lead to possibly permanently damaging my health for the rest of my life.
