I have been a patient here for years great staff short wait time definitely family friendly and they accept most government insurance coverage medical and such, if you don't like dealing with busy large hospitals or clinics this is the place I'd recommend!
Staff doesn't seem to care about patients. They don't return calls. Referrals to specialists don't happen. It's a black hole. The staff is so poor they make the help at Home Depot seem like personal shoppers.
This "clinic" is supposed to be a non-profit operation, yet they've refused to treat my disabled wife because of past-due bills. The staff has been curt & rude when I tried to reach our doctor, they even hung up the phone a number of times after telling me "you don't have to pay for treatment but you do have to pay something" which makes no sense whatsoever! We're both senior citizens living on Social Security & barely make it through each month. They refused to let us speak with our doctor directly & acknowledged that they'd received faxes from Walgreens to verify my wife's prescriptions but failed to respond to Walgreens requests for the entire month of August. As a result; my wife only got part of her monthly prescriptions but not her pain medicine & muscle relaxant, which required verification from the clinic as it is a "controlled substance". the person I spoke with in charge of accounting actually admitted to not responding to Walgreens saying that she wouldn't respond until we paid something on our bill, then she laughed at me & abruptly hung up on me; when I said that if my wife had any physical problems because they withheld her pain medicine, I'd take legal action! What kind of "medical care" is that!?! That same person in charge of their accounts had also received our written requests for our medical records, as well as our signed financial statement paperwork to establish a '"sliding scale" approach to any payments, yet months have gone by & we still haven't received our medical records nor any acknowledgement of our financial declarations. Their posted credo clearly states; "we treat patients regardless of their ability to pay" so what's up with that?! Either they are a "non-profit" clinic or they're a "for-profit" clinic; they can't have it both ways! Health and Safety Code - HSC DIVISION 2. LICENSING PROVISIONS [1200 - 1796.70] ( Division 2 enacted by Stats. 1939, Ch. 60. ) CHAPTER 1. Clinics [1200 - 1245] ( Chapter 1 repealed & added by Stats. 1978, Ch. 1147. ) Right to Medical Treatment: In 1986 Congress enacted the federal Emergency Medical Treatment & Active Labor Act (EMTALA) in response to a surge of “patient dumping” by hospitals that refused to treat individuals who were unable to pay for medical care. Under EMTALA, all hospitals or clinics that participate in Medicare & their physicians are duty bound to stabilize & provide medical screening examinations for each patient who comes to the facility for emergency care, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. While EMTALA does not expose individual physicians to direct liability for failure to comply, repeated violations of the act may lead to exclusion from participation in Medicare & Medicaid & also to civil monetary damages. This clinic has already stated they take Medicare & Medicaid, which puts them under obligation to treat my wife, period! Charitable Hospitals - General Requirements for Tax-Exemption Under Section 501(c)(3) "Charitable hospitals must meet the general requirements for tax exemption under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) & Revenue Ruling 69-545 PDF. These general requirements are in addition to the four additional requirements imposed under IRC Section 501(r)(1)" So as it is, my wife & I will have no alternative but to seek legal assistance in this situation, as the folks in charge of accounting need to have a reality check about their obligations to their patients. Our doctor is a decent guy & would be appalled at how the clinic is treating us. We have been patients there for nearly a decade & have seen a number of good doctors come & go, as this "clinic" can't seem to keep good people on their staff. Researchers Ge Bai of Johns Hopkins University & David Hyman of Georgetown Law found that for every $100 in total spending; nonprofit hospitals provided $2.30 in charity care compared to $3.80 from for-profits. They conclude many nonprofit hospitals do not provide nearly enough charity care to justify their tax exemption! Where's the Hippocratic Oath in all of this to "Do no harm" as while my wife suffers badly!
This place absolutely sucks. Don't bother going there. Bad service, bad practitioners, and a bad vibe pretty much every time I've been there. I wouldn't trust a doctor or dentist there at all!
5 stars to the receptionists who've helped me- I wanna make that clear, they are #kindessgoals. 0 stars to both counselors I worked with. One didn't really say anything & ended our 2nd session after 10 min, when we'd agreed on 45m-1h. The 2nd forgot our first appt, then was so late for the second one that I couldn't make it anymore. I chose not to reschedule, which is devastating bc due to a crappy healthcare system, this is the only place I could afford for any mental healthcare help.Oh and I couldn't tell you about the dentist because after about a few months & countless hassle, they never called me back to book my damn appointment
Nononononononononononono badbadbad would not recommend this place so please do not choose to go here I strongly advise
While I’m very grateful for the services and friendly front office, I felt SO threatened dealing with dentist Dr. Parks. Upon first meeting her I felt she was brusque and dismissive. When I came back for my actual dental appointment, I made sure I’d already filled out the four page questionnaire and had 4 years of x-rays! I made a point to be upbeat and polite but became threatened by her manner. I was so upset I spoke about not wishing to proceed. Our conversation quickly deteriorated and in my awkwardness I stumbled with my communication.I left immediately. I will never go back there!
Super friendly and helpful staff!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
