MIchael J. Mcglue's Online Review Report Card

Dr Michael McGlue is one of the best doctor's I have ever experienced. This doctor is always friendly and very concerned about me as his patient. He listens to me about my concerns and tries to figure out the best plan of treatment. I have many health issues and the most irritating of them is constant pain on my left side. Many of my issues are related to having had Covid. Long Hauler's side effects. This doctor has done some research about this situation and I really appreciate it very much. My only concern about him as my doctor is that it has become extremely difficult getting an appointment to see him. I have recently tried to get an appointment and it was scheduled more than a month out. I'm supposed to have a follow up after being treated at Community Hospital. The clinic in Marina always has new girls at the front desk and unfortunately they have not been helpful. They have switched me to the Ryan Ranch location with a different doctor and that appointment is scheduled for August. We are currently in the month of April. I blame Montage as a medical corporation for the decline in good patient healthcare and feel bad for what the doctors have to deal with working for this deplorable company. I also believe that is a big reason why so many doctors and nurses are leaving Montage.

Excellent physician. Listens to concerns and involves patients in healthcare decisions.

Dr. McGlue listens and actually hears what the patient is telling him. I never feel rushed at an appointment. I prefer natural remedies over medications and I don't feel like he ever pushes prescriptions at me as other doctors have done in the past. Dr. Mcglue has been my primary health doctor for the past two years and I am very appreciative of him. I like how he listens to my concerns and and answers all my questions in details. I also appreciate him for following up with me on on my health conditions.

I am a patient of Dr. McGlue at Montage Marina. Although I believe he's an excellent doctor Montage places terrible restrictions on the amount of time he's allotted per patient visits. Also several times I have had appointments they got canceled the actual day of the scheduled visit. Not happy at all with my medical care. I'm a diabetic and high risk patient who needs to see a doctor regularly.

First time at Montage, haven’t had a primary doctor in a long time. Staff was welcoming and super friendly. Dr.McGlue was very nice. He helped me get everything in order to get my referrals going to see my past specialist. He asked questions which was very nice. Definitely would recommend him to future clients.

I highly recommend Dr McGlue. On the Monterey Peninsula, MDs seems to come and go. Finding a great PCP is very difficult. Dr McGlue is one of the best kept secrets here! I met Dr McGlue actually in the ER (bonus: he has great ER experience and training too!).Upon my follow up appointment with him, I was very pleased with his thoroughness and expansive knowledge. He thinks outside the box. I am in my late 50s and he's been great. I am going to refer my daughter to him too.Dr McGlue now is my elderly father's PCP. My father really likes him, and I feel Dr McGlue also has a very competent handle on caring for older patients.Dr McGlue is well-connected if you need a referral. The network of specialists I've experienced ALL say "Oh yes, he is a good one. Stick with him." They like his skills and as a colleague. I hope he stays! Please don't leave like most of the MDs here. We need you!
