Dr Manuel saw me at my follow up but was also very involved in my initial admittance to Loyola so I have multiple visits with him and again always pleasant and thoughtful. Great staff at Loyola!

Have been going to Dr. P for 20 years. He has the best bedside manners and is very thorough and excellent in explaining in layman’s terms medical diagnosis. He is trustworthy and caring. Only issue is wait time is usually at least 45 minutes. Probably because he is so popular.

Dr. Portalatin and his nurses are the absolute best! He spends time with you, always answers any questions I have and never makes me feel like he's trying to rush me out of the office. The only downside to that is that he usually runs a little behind but I don't mind at all, he is worth every minute waiting because I know I will get the same quality of care when it's my turn!! Wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Portalatin has been my trusted physician for 8 years. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to listen and give the best care possible. He goes above and beyond in not just treating acute issues and symptoms, but gives guidance on how to stay well in the long term. He is very caring, honest and develops strong relationships with his patients.

Dr. Portalatin has been me and my husbands physician for over 14 years and I hope I never see the day he retires (yes I know that's selfish) but he is hands down one knowledgeable doctor. I trust him thoroughly. He is not only smart in so many different areas, but he truly does care!!!
