Excellent pain doctor. Very communicative and caring.

I have been with Dr Hyun for a few years now. She has been helpful in finding out the cause of my pain and giving me all my options to help manage my pain. I have had doctors in the past who hardly would listen to what I would say but I appreciate that she genuinely tries to help.

The staff and Dr Hyun are Great. They actually take the time to tell you why and what where as most practices treat you like a number. I’ve had lower back pain for over 15 years and Dr Hyun has been amazing and her MA Tristan is incredible. Update: I spoke to soon after having a family death and asking to pick up my medication 2 days early as I’d be out of down for a funeral in Florida. Firsts the doctor said no and I noticed she treated me more like a kid then a patient and that’s not going to happen. Second upon calling and speaking with the medical assistant about picking up my medication she replied “ maybe you should make better plans” I was like $&@“ but I didn’t, showed no remorse for my brother-in-law who passed. So I decided to change them , look I’m sure they may be good people just make sure if you get dr hyun you demand her to treat you like a adult or you will understand when you meet her.

HORRIBLE THEY DON'T WANT TO TREAT PATIENTS WITH PROPER MEDS. THE DOCTER TOLD ME HE OVER PERSCRIBED HIS PATIENTS IN THE PAST AND SOME ENDED UP DYING. HE WONT PERSCIBE ANYTHING STRONGER THEN NORCO. I HAVE A DISEASE THAT GIVES ME A TWO YEAR LIFE SPAN I AM ALWAYS IN PAIN AND NORCO'S DON'T DO ANYTHING BUT GIVE ME A STOMACH ACE. I HATE PAIN MEDS AND IF I DIDNT HAVE TO TAKE THEM I WOULDNT. I JUST WANT TO NOT BE IN PAIN. NOW I AM LOOKING FOR A DOCTER THAT CAN ACTUALLY TREAT ME.

Dr. Hyun was awful and didn’t help me with my pain at all. She wanted to keep doing cortisone shots even though they didn’t work (I guess she’s makes a lot off those). I told her the injections didn’t help and asked for something for the pain she flat told me no. After 3 MRI’s that hurt terribly she finally prescribed me some pain meds. It was the one medication I’m allergic to. Once I pointed that out she prescribed me Lyrica and subutex (which you can’t take together there are major interactions) but also I can’t take it with my sleep meds. When I talked to her about it she said it was fine and only take in the morning. I tried it once and not only did it make me miserably sick but it lasted more than 18 hours I was to scared to take my sleep meds (I got 0 sleep). I found out it was a methadone replacement made to help addiction. I immediately canceled my pain contract with her and all my appointments and filed a complaint with my insurance. Don’t walk RUN away from this place

Dr Hyun is the nicest and takes her time answering my questions.

I feel such a relief knowing that I have more options than surgery. I really want to avoid surgery and feel very hopeful that I will be able to under Dr. Hyun's care. She took her time giving a very thorough evaluation.
