Dr. Yumi Ando is a wonderful primary care concierge doctor who specializes in Functional Medicine. That is an approach to keep you healthy rather than to cure illness. I've been with her for about 12 years and I've followed her to multiple offices. As a concierge doctor she has about 10% as many patients as a normal primary care physician, so she is very available. She also has a fantastic nurse, Maribel, who is a big part of her care, and a wonderful new clinic that she owns with a partner so no more moving around. She's the doctor you want if you have complicated issues that need plenty of care. For me, as I've grown healthier in part due to her care, I find it hard to justify the high monthly cost required of concierge medical care and I'm going to try going back to a normal doctor. But I couldn't leave Dr. Ando without giving her and her team the highest possible rating. And I do believe I will be back in the future.
