Nice little Missionary Baptist church, Sierra College Beauty School and a methadone clinic in the shopping center!
Here's some old photos from some years back. All-in-all, this is a great place. 👏
Everybody here are all kind and considerate. The office is respectful of your needs and privacy. They've bent over backwards to make sure I have everything I need and that makes life much easier. Keeps the stress out of your life. I was stuck on opioids and just couldn't get off it without help. I finally found it here. Been coming nearly a year and I'll be finished in about 6 months at the rate I've been tapering off. No more panic attacks or vomiting. I'm working my way off slowly and man do I feel better. It's great having people care and not judge you for your weakness. Not once here has anyone made me feel weak or that I couldn't do it. So amazing. Thank you Aegis staff and thank you to my counselor, David. He's the best.
After almost 4years of going every day to dose i can say so glad i came. Great people to help those who really want it. Thank you my friends from my clean mind and body.I should be graduating from program by the new year.
They're very good at what they do. If u want help to get off drugs, come here.
I love the staff the Doctor truly care not only that the other clinics are like an drug swap meet.Theres a zero tolerance policy here so dealers and drug seeking patients are not going to be here. I've been to them all. The staff are very beautiful inside and out I owe my life to this location. If you want methadone just to add on your list and plan to use go elsewhere.
Is it free
UPDATE: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, THANK GOD!New manager is an a s s h o l e. They don't care if you never test clean, they'll keep treating you. But if you test clean for 8 months & make them do any more foot work than necessary (courtesy doses, clinic transfers for employment, etc) they will stop dosing you and force you to withdrawal because you're too much of a burden on them.(Whos just going to sit there and go through withdrawl? They're essentially feeding you to the sharks, they don't care if you're back on the streets.) You'd think "just go to another clinic, right?" Wrong. Modesto is always full for intake and require 24 hrs-7 days notice for courtesy. Most addicts don't have access to cars or gas money to drive to Fresno every day or San jose, Sacramento... Just a heartless, spineless b a s t a r d. TRY SUBOXONE ACROSS THE STREET INSTEAD. At least then you have a fighting chance.PS. WHEN THEY MISTREAT YOU, REPORT TO CORPORATE. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE DO, THIS CLINIC NEEDS A WAKEUP CALL.EDIT** SUBOXONE IS NOW CLOSED ;)
Been here 10 years and I can honestly say I been clean from opiates 9 of those 10. I really owe my life to this place. I'm coming to the end of my treatment by almost being tapered off, but everyone is here for different lengths of time. As long as you try then you WILL get clean!
This place needs to be shut down the staff and doctor is idiots they can't even tell you your getting discharged or any rules at all! I get discharged because I go one day and don't comeback so u don't get paid so u screw me so I have to waists four hours agian sick in ur awful waiting room!no I'd rather not! This place is crap for recovery shove your Suboxone And methadone shove it shove it
Good place where they care for u
Omg I love this clinic it's better then Modesto. My conuslor Vincent omg he's the best I've every had and I've been at Aegis for 15 years straight. I advise if anyone is on heroin please please go in to the Aegis clinics. You'll get token care of
My boyfriend is a current patient/client here and I can't say enough how much his treatment is helping himself. He's Been in feeling more lively and historically depression is diminishing day by day. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.
Every day aegis has become part of my life.. All I can say is that the staff and doctors genuinely care about us. I recommend aegis for anyone who is fighting the opiate fight. 2 thumbs up
Aegis is the bee's knees. If your looking to deal with an opiate addiction without having to quit your job or live in an inpatient program Aegis is the way to go. Methadone can drastically improve your quality of life. My only hope is that Suboxone is covered or partially covered by Medi-Cal in the near future. As of now it's $699/month. On a low income without Medi-Cal your looking at $250/month for methadone. The doctor is only available Tue, Wed, & Thurs so call and setup an appointment and lessen your misery. Give yourself and your family a break, you owe it to them and yourself.
this particular aegis in merced ca is horrible don't get me wrong jerica which is the small asian girl who woprks up front at the window and dora who used to be the other front desk girl and is now the assistant clinic manager are really great they have been here since jason was the clinic manager, jason was amazing i hardley ever heard anyone complain about the clinic or him while he ran this facility! it was always so peaceful and free flowing once in a great while someone might have a slight concern and it was always took seriously and dealt with right away with all the care and concern in the world we all really miss him he was bumped up to corperate and that was it things went down hill fast now the new clinic manager has no clue how to run this clinic and is very disrespectful to the clients i told someone to call corprate because they wouldnt help her for hours and hours and the very next day i got called in and asked not to talk about corprate i told her i had every right to talk about my rights as well as others and she couldnt stop me she just got quite and left me alone ever since she doesnt speak to me at all! so if your thinking of starting this clinic do your research and ask all the right questions before locking yourself in and beware of samantha and the clinic manager just an fyi! hope this helped and never be afraid of calling corperate if your copncerned about something or your rights.
Well for starters I have been a junkie for the better part of my life so when I say honesty hasn't been easy most addicts would agree. As you can guess I've had alot of counselors and aegis has allot of them who have no history of drug abuse so being able to relate has been a challenge. My counselor Steven has proven that even the thick walls I have put up can be chiped away. Progress is measured by success this is true but we tend to forget that it's the failures that become less by our attempts
My experience with Aegis has been very well. The staff has been very professional and helpful. I've learned in the past several years about how to deal with my addiction and other problems that go with it. After 30 odd years of repeated drug offenses, I've managed to get off parole. I finally broke the chain of my addiction with the assistance of this program. I've been drug free, I'm a free man, no parole, no probation, and free from opiates. In my opinion, this program has a lot to offer, all for the taking if you are willing to break the cycle. Be kind to yourself.
i have been a patient at Aegis for a couple of years.my opinion of it is that it is a great place if you want to get recovery.the DRs are good the staff greets you with a good morning when you show up.my counselor helps me so much with my recovery .We have a new manager there i havent had a chance to meet her but she seems very nice so if you are ready to change your life and stop doing drugs that is the place to go.i definitely give it a 5 star
I recently visited the Merced facility and met with the clinic manager and some of the staff. The facility is clean, welcoming and the staff is very professional and friendly. I would recommend this treatment facility to any of my friends.
