This lady doesn't care for patients. She takes forever and doesn't explain anything. She gives you information you already know. Waste of time
When I was telling the assistance what I was there for, was told I could only address 2 issues. That I needed to pick the top 2 issues. When she did come in she went over lad reports and then when asking questions she would cut you off. She was not through at all. Then when trying to tell her about another issue cuts you off and said she was busy and had to get to next patient. Didn't even give me 15 min of her time. She said she was writing a Rx never called it in then when we called the office to asked about was it told I had to make another appt. to see her. I was like why I already did and she told me she wanted me to take antibiotics, then two weeks later the Pharmacy called and said they had the Rx now. Suppose to do referral never happened still waiting two months later. Thought maybe a bad day but been seen by her now 5 times same thing. Done... Time for a new doctor.
my mother has a chronic illness and needed refills on her medication. After numerous times of asking for them and constantly being practically ignored, she went in several times and on the last time she went, Dr. Ramaa told her MA to tell my mom that if she was in a good mood, she would refill it but if she wasn't she wouldn't. Such an unprofessional doctor. just because you're having a bad day, you don't take it out on your patients.
She is always in a hurry and talks way more than she listens. Takes months to get appointments and appointments are constantly being canceled by her and then have to wait 2-3 months again before being seen or for follow ups. Take numerous calls to get prescriptions refilled, to get copies of lab results, or anything other information that is needed. 2 years and she still has not taken the time to learn my history or work on my issue. She is always in a rush and never finishes answering questions
Personally she is a great doctor. She listens and looks to find deeper reasonings for sickness however, the wait to see her is beyond ridiculous. She is always behind, or off. Her schedule to see patients is months. Yes, Months as in 2-3 months. The only way to see her within weeks is to first go the the E.R and then follow up with Ramaa because the E.R. Doc says so. If you want a doc who listens, and is willing to wait out your sickness, she is great. If you are sick often, don't bother.
Dr. Ramma's ( Maruthachalam) first name works best for me. How often do you find a physician like her? Sometimes perhaps. Dr. Ramma has a great personality, is truly caring, has a great staff, especially Martha and Carlos along with the front office. You will appreciate her personality as well as her knowledge. I've been with her many years, and look forward to seeing her each time. Make an appointment with her and you will see.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
