We have had SO many bad experiences with optometrists and Dr. Kaplan was wonderful! Finally! A smart, appropriate and helpful practitioner who gave us information that we've never heard before . I finally feel like my daughters vision will actually improve!

In just a couple of months or so Dr. Kaplan has been able to greatly help me with my vestibular migraine issue with a series of carefully designed/tailored eye exercises. Associated with this, he found a problem with my eyes that my former OD did not discover. Aside from his obvious breadth of knowledge his caring, patient, positive and thorough manner has made my experience a very positive one. His help is especially appreciated after my neurologist and others were unable to do anything else for me after 2 years, and I was beginning to lose hope. I recommend Dr. Kaplan very highly!

I wouldn't go to any other optometrist. Eliot Kaplan is a thoughtful, deeply experienced eye doctor. He's made me many kinds of lenses for various uses including progressives, computer glasses and a pair of lenses that work well for when I am reading the teleprompter for my video shoots. Each time I bring him a requirement he spends a lot of time making sure the prescription is perfect for the desired tasks.He has a great selection of attractive frames that are fashionable but not "fashion victim." And if you bring your own frames from elsewhere he can make prescription lenses for you.I really USE my eyes for a lot of computer work and reading and I want to take excellent care of them. Eliot Kaplan is the OD I TRUST.Plus he is a super nice guy, very easy going and focused on excellent service. His office is easy to get to and right near a delicious juice bar to boot!Choose Eliot Kaplan, OD for your annual eye exam, glasses and contact lenses.

Eliot easily corrected a peripheral vision challenge which had either gone undetected by other professionals or were unable to resolve. What a relief.For parents considering a new OD for their children, I know Eliot pratices Behavorial Optometry and has enjoyed great success correcting Vision issues that may sometimes be sutble and effect the ease in which children learn. This would have emmensely helpful when I was a student. I found Eliot's staff to be both friendly and professional.
