Elizabeth Lowe's Online Review Report Card

In searching for a new doctor, I called Dr. Lowe's office as the reviews seemed fairly good. Well, I never made it past the rude person who answered the phone and hung up on me after basically biting my head off as she told me none of the doctors in that office were accepting new patients. I didn't even get the chance to say goodbye and wish her a Wonderful day   If she is a reflection of the care they give, I'd rather bleed out on the sidewalk.

My son dropped a heavy weight on his finger and opened a deep wound. We showed up at Dr. Lowe’s office at 5:30 PM without an appointment. She arranged for her partner, Dr. Grewal, to stay after hours and put 10 stitches in my son’s finger to close the wound. Amazing!!!

Elizabeth Lowe misdiagnosed my husband.  He came in with visible and palpable lumps under his collar bone, which were extremely painful and she took an ekg, told him he had had a massive heart attack BEFORE sending him to a cardiologist who told him she was wrong.Then she dropped him.  I had to call her and tell her to try a vascular surgeon, and keep trying to diagnose him... This was January.  He didn't get his diagnosis until July.  It was a rapidly growing form of lymphoma, now requiring months of chemo and radiation.She also had the audacity to scream at me when I asked if my son and I could be treated for an infection as my husband was immune compromised.  She screamed at us.  I've worked for doctors for over twenty years and NEVER have I seen such behavior.I have formally reported her to the California Medical Association.She should have her license revoked.

Dr. Lowe is empathic, connecting, thorough and supportive. She has been my primary care physician for 10 years and each encounter with her leaves me feeling even happier that she is my doctor. Her team is very supportive and caring and they go the extra mile to respond to my needs. An excellent experience from a dedicated physician.

This woman is dangerously incompetent.She misdiagnosed my husbands visible and palpable cancer as a "massive heart attack".  She was wrong and subsequently took over five and a half months to diagnose him.This caused his cancer to grow and spend a year undergoing chemo and radiation.She is the only doctor I've ever known, and I worked for doctors for twenty years, who actually yelled at my son and I for looking to protect my husband from our infection by seeing her.....she was mortified at her misdiagnosis?Run from her.  She is horrid.

Dr. Lowe is very good but the front desk is awful. They always act annoyed when I call and ask for anything at all. And it has always been this way. Please get new employees.

Great Doc

The most unprofessional and uncaring medical office imaginable. If you can not care for your patients because you are over-loaded then do not take on new patients. Atrocious and borderline cruel.

She said: " I noticed a heart murmur and gave you a referral to Dr. Strunk. What did he say?" Me: "I never went." Dr. Lowe: " Well I am going to keep calling you until you go." She did and I have a new (pig) heart valve.
