List of Action Urgent Care's Reviews
Doctor at this urgent care is not recommended. We visited this urgent care when my father was having discomfort in his chest. When we visited my father was saying he is having gastric and having pain in chest. Doctor just checked the stomach and said okay I will give medication for gastric,he didn’t even use stethoscope to check heart rate and to see the reason for chest pain. After when we voluntarily asked him to do ECG, he did and then we found out my dad had heart attack and then we rushed to Emergency. So don’t just rely completely on what doctor says here.
Must visit if you’re suffering from any urgent issues !! Doctor and the whole team makes it as if your walking into a luxurious treatment center and she doctor s touch on pain area makes it just go !! They were very accommodative and also asked for a follow up !!
Excellent service—very helpful in addressing my dad’s hearing problem.
I visited this clinic for blood work and a urine test. Since I don’t have health insurance, I paid in cash. At checkout, the front desk employee, Nicole, told me my bill should have been $392 but that their system accidentally charged one of the tests twice. She said she couldn’t fix it at that moment but told me to contact the billing department when the bill arrived and that they would remove the extra charge. She also said she would leave a note in the system. When I later received a bill for $487, I called the billing department. The representative, Jason, claimed Nicole no longer worked there and said another employee told him there was no mistake, so I would have to pay the extra $95. This is not true — I was at the clinic today and Nicole is still working there. My receipt clearly shows the same billing code entered twice, and I also have a written note from Nicole acknowledging the error. I’m still waiting for the billing department to correct the mistake. If they don’t, I will have to consider small claims court. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this urgent care clinic. The care I received was not helpful, and the billing practices resulted in a surprise charge. If you don’t have insurance, you may be better off visiting a private doctor’s office near Tully Rd in San Jose, where visits can cost under $100 and the care is often better.
THE BEST. I've been to many places here and I have to tell you this is far the best
Quick and efficient appointment from start to finish. I was warmly greeted by the front desk team upon arrival. I came in with a severe sinus infection, and they promptly conducted all necessary tests, including flu, COVID, and a throat swab. The results were available very quickly. The NP performed a thorough examination, confirmed it was a sinus infection, prescribed appropriate medication, and clearly explained the treatment plan. They also recommended scheduling a follow-up to monitor for any side effects or adjust the medication if needed. Overall, a smooth and reassuring experience. I highly recommend this place.
My most recent visit: the RN who saw my son was clueless. He is an old Asian gentleman and he had no idea how ear tubes work and proceeded to prescribe an oral antibiotic that I said worked for him in the past (he had no idea there was an antibiotic by that name). When we asked my son's pediatrician, she said it was unnecessary as he had ear tubes and precribed just the ear drops. I am really disappointed. My visit several months ago: The RN Bhavika Sharma was outstanding. The doctor was very good too.
I recently got into a car accident and couldn’t get an appointment with my primary physician soon enough. So I decided to go to urgent care. I didn’t have an appointment but I was seen by a doctor very quickly! Joshua was especially a great help, he was very accommodating and answered all of my questions concerning how the process would work. Overall, good experience.
Avoid Action Urgent Care like the plague. Even with an appointment I waited over an hour before being seen even though there were no other people in the waiting room. I was also forced to prepay for service even though I have PPO insurance. After insurance processed the claim it turns out they overcharged me, so I requested a refund of the overpayment of nearly $100. After over a year of dealing with their so-called billing department and escalation office over multiple online chats, emails and phone calls, I still have not received my refund. Every time they just tell me that the refund has been requested but nothing ever materializes. Would never go back to this place.
I visited this urgent care over the weekend due to vomiting, dehydration, and a severe headache. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The nurse practitioner (Mr Yang) attempted to insert an IV multiple times on both arms, poking me painfully without success. I repeatedly explained that I had been nauseous since the night before and unable to keep fluids down, and that I was severely dehydrated. Despite that, after several failed attempts he told me, “We can’t do it here, you should go to the ER if you need an IV.” It left me wondering what the point of an urgent care is if they cannot perform such a basic procedure or escalate to someone more experienced. I left with bruises on both hands, no treatment, and still dehydrated. Communication was also difficult to understand, and I did not feel confident in the care being provided at any point. I wasn’t sure to leave a review, but this experience was unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and improves training and patient care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
