Dr. Hour is one of the most competent, compassionate, respectful, and sincere doctors I've ever had. To me, that's the most ideal and perfect combination of character traits for someone in his profession, which, alas, seem to be lacking in many physicians nowadays. Unlike others where a patient is made to wait for hours to see their doctor--only to be afforded at most, ten minutes of actual interaction, I never feel rushed and in an assembly-line clinic whenever I visit with him. He makes and takes time to examine and discuss my condition. There ought to be more doctors, especially specialists, like Dr. Billy Hour.

Dr. Hour is cool, but it literally took days for me to reach someone to reschedule an appointment I had with him. His telephone staff should be shown the door ASAP. I left voice messages they did not return, got hung up on while on hold, and was devolved to the point where I wondered if I actually needed a doctor that bad.

Dr. Hour is an amazing, kind, considerate and caring Doctor. He literally saved my life and I can never repay him for that. However, the office staff is not very competent. It is very difficult to get somebody on the phone and when you are finally able to, they rarely can give you an answer. Of all the messages I've left over the past six months, perhaps only two of them were ever returned. I just have to keep calling. Very frustrating and not in line with such a great and professional doctor.

Dr. Hour listens and considers your unique history. He is patient and spoke to me at the appropriate level of understanding, unlike many doctors who talk down to you. He was very intelligent and is working with me to help me get my very resistant blood pressure under control.
